Description

Besides termas & hotel this is also a very nice campground with its own termas!

We paid 12.000 pppn, but this includes the termas at the camground and two additional pools near the registration office. As a bonus 200 meters further doen the registration office there is a geiser with can be visited beteeen 14:00 and 16:00.

The camground itself is on a grassy hill with wooden tables. There is a shower and toilet block and a separate buiding with big tables which can be used to eat your breakfast or dinner.

Near the registration office again is a restaurant (only took a coffee).

Latest Check-Ins

In winter the camping was closed of course but we were allowed to stay in front of the registration office for free.
Termas are 22000 CLP now, for us way to much sulfur in the water.

This is Chile, you have to go through a Trámite at the reception while they are unwilling to provide you with information. Camping is only one of the complex's activities, and it comes last in every respect. This is all the more surprising as there are very few other people there, the majority by far - thus the main providers - are the campers.
The campground is reasonably clean, trash lying around but not really bad.
Camp fire pits around, but no built up gtills. No water or electricity at the spots.
The short road to the camping area significantly worse than to the rest.
Admin opens at 11am, the restaurant at 1:30pm, after the opening hour for better guests. The warm water pool at the camping space open all day. Another pool, up the hill - I guess, the "good one" - goes first to day guests, and is only open to campgrounds users after 6pm, because by then the day guests are gone.
Showers and bathrooms at the camping closed 10-11am.
You have to wait 5-10 minutes for the dribble in the shower turn from lukewarm to hot.
There seems to be a geyser and a grotto, but each is extra.
Made me pay 18000 for the night. A guy wanted 20, but a colleague told him not to. Prices are vague, as usual.
A lot of red tape, a lot of people being employed there, but no discernible activity deployed... As far as the camping goes, certainly sub-standard but pricey.
By midnight music from other camping spots, rather annoying if you try to sleep.

The campsite is open! The reception is near Thermas.
We payed 20.000 pesos pp., that is inclusive the use of the thermas. water temperature 37-40 degrees. Nice under the stars!

The upper thermas are open too, but the restaurant was closed, they just sell drinks and snacks.
You can visit a geiser between 15:00-17:00, 2000 pp

Open. Pretty cool with 24/7 termalbath in the middle of the camping. Reception is 50m further up the road. There is also a restaurant where you get a menu for dinner. 14400 p.p.n. if you reserve via phone or website. otherwise 18000 p.p.n. Termal bath included. Facilities new and cleaned midday.

Report Check-In

Campground is closed until December 15th for repairs. Price after December 15th is currently unknown. Just the thermal bath costs 15000 per person now

Report Check-In

Camping is closed at the moment, but looks like it would be a nice spot earlier in the year.

Exactly as described in the previous review except when we were here the campground bathrooms were being refurbished. The new facilities look as if they will be very nice also will have a laundry. For now you can use bathrooms at the pools by reception. About 5 min walk and the showers are FREEZING. Also fine to have a dog. The price is 18,000 per person so a bit high especially when the facilities are under construction.
