What an unbelievable awesome place. The best campsite on this stretch of Zambezi. Very friendly staff and very well kept campsite with beautiful ablutions. This is a star campsite with a resident Hippo called Sox keeping the grass short. Living it here with very friendly staff and many activities on offer. Will def be back.

Report Check-In

Great place, very clean and well maintained. Hippo Socks WILL visit the campsite :-).
Signpost says closed but they are open. Just go there!

Beautiful camp on the banks of the Zambezi. Shaded trees, green lawn, clean spacious ablutions, power at some sites, non pottable water available. Nice bar pool area overlooking the river. Sunrise and sunset are amazing. Hippos, crocs and elephant see regular ry sometimes also in camp at night.

$10 pppn. Fishing, petrol & rod hire extra.

Friendly hosts sharing their passion of living on the Zambezi. Highly recommended.

Sorry, was a mistake the price is still 10$ppn.

Very nice place for staying a couple of days, green, clean, nice poolarea and lots of hippos and crocodiles, also in the camp, so take care. Price is still 20$ ppn, dinner for 10$, if you get up early you will have a beautyful sunrise.

Beautiful camp, ignore the closed sign. They are just finishing the bar and restaurant, but camping is already possible. Green lawn with trees, prestine pool, new, very clean ablutions, great river view and sunset cruise. We had a hippo and elephants visiting us. Very nice owners. Highly recommended. 10,- USDpppn Good value for that price.

The site is open again, we stayed one night before our canoe trip with River Horse.

There are nice set up tents with bedding and camping should also be possible (did not ask)
The pool is really clean and the abolution block is brand new and spot less.

Food was really good and the owners Denise +263 772235311 and Ant +263 772235340 are super friendly and welcoming.

Maybe call first to check about camping and prices.

One of our favorite place in Zambia. Very laid back atmosphere, Anne-Marie, the owner, is super nice. We spent 1 night before a 4-day canoe trip, then 3 nights to relax, it was perfect. Yes, the ablutions are not brand new but it's clean and it works so we don't mind at all. Clean swimming pool, appreciated the fact it is open to residents only (unlike some other places where the pool is packed with clients from the bar). We would stay there again !

Price is now 110 ZMW pppn. Lovely spot on the river.

Report Check-In

Stayed here two nights and really enjoyed it. Beautiful position over the river. Saw many many elephant when we were there including some very close to our car.

We did the half day river safari. About 1300kw for the 5 hours but really worth it. We tried to team up with some of the other guests to lower the price, but unfortunately the timings didn’t work out.

We also stayed at the nearby Cockerdile Camp (Benzo). Nothing particularly wrong, but we were the only guests and so it felt a bit odd. Would recommend Zambezi Breezers over Benzo.

Only took cash so make sure you have enough for camping and river trip (if you want to do that) before you leave Chirundu, although it’s not too far back if you have to go.

Beautiful campsite on the bank of the Zambezi river! Electricity (pretty old facilities but still) on some sites, actually there is grassy land (no set camping spots) and you choose place between trees. Choose wisely (especially if you’re sleeping in the ground tent) cause at night there are hippos grazing around. There is a bar (16 KW per beer) but food is quite expensive so we didn’t eat- we stopped in hungry lion in Chirundu on the way here. Ablutions are ok, hot showers. We took boat trip from them, 700 Kw + 24 kw per litre of gasoline (we spent 24 litres so extra coast 576 kw). Price is per boat (so we devided cost for tree of us), for 5 hours- you can choose morning 7-12 or afternoon 13-18 ride. Price per camping: 100kw pppn.

Report Check-In

Price was 100 Kwacha pppn. Location is nice, otherwise all seems a big neglected. Showers are mozzie infected, so take some spray with you.

Report Check-In

We stayed 2 nights here. Large grassy campsite on the river. Hippos forage at night on the grass which gave us a chance to see one up close. The facilities are run down but manageable, the pool was green so we didn't go in. Getting here requires turning onto a dirt road at the Shoprite in town and following the bumpy track until the sign where you turn right and go down another track. Sign says Zambezi Breezers, not sure about a name change. Prices from last check in still accurate.

Report Check-In

Large grassy campsite on the river with plenty of breeze and a bar and small swimming pool. The place clearly needs some maintenance as most places do we seen along the river but it is cheaper then other camps and I am quite happy here, the ensuite canvas tents are Kw700 a night for 2 or kw450 single. Boat trips and fishing for Kw700 for 6 hour trips plus petrol used at kw18 per liter. Wifi is fast and only on from 18-19hrs so perfect actually!

Horrible place to stay. Grassy campsite. Run down and staff didn´t seem to care at all.
