Description
Large grass lot, cabins available, at the Lagunillas entrance to the park. A recommended first day to help acclimatize as the hike is fairly level and easy. The road in was a little rougher and steeper than expected, need high clearance. Paid 10k per person.

Report Check-InPaid $10,000 per person per night. There wasn't really anyone around, but a guide went missing when we were there so many guides and locals were out searching. Bathrooms were in ok shape. Didn't attempt a shower. Hike to Sisuma Cabin was around 1.5 hours one way, you can't drive through.
Report Check-InVery cold at night, but run by a very nice family. Has running water and shower, but the water is ice cold. We were charged 5000 pesos per tent, per night. They have a tienda and cook meals. They smelled delicious, but we cooked our own food. One hour hike to Sisumo cabanas, which is where the trailheads up to the glacier or over to the lagunas are.
