Enormous park where tou can camp for free. Best free spot in Guayaquil assuming there isn't a big event going on at the park. Wifi is hit or miss. You must register in the office with your passport to get permission to sleep here or you will have to leave when they close.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
🇪🇸 Lugar alejado del centro pero bueno para pasar la noche. Abre a las 06:00am y cierra 09:30pm
🇬🇧 Place away from the center but good to spend the night. Opens at 06:00am and closes at 09:30pm
Nice guard and then locked at 11pm. They take your ID when you enter. No problem to stay for the night. Nice and quiet.
Report Check-InWe came for second time, gate was closed. Park in front of the gate and walk to second parking (3 minutes), ask them you have casa rodante, they will hate for you, take a picture of id, and van. This is the only parking where your can park with camper. Morning same procedure. Easy, safe.
The coordinates of the entrance of parque samanes are -2.107832, -79.903104.
You have to go to administration asking for permission to stay during the night.
Then you inform the security staff.
Safe place to stay in Guayaquil. However, they lock you at night And it was a nightmare to find someone to open us the gate in the morning. They ask you for passports, etc. no shower,no bathroom no wifi. People leave by 10pm and then its all quiet. PD: a lot of mosquitoes. Still a good free place to stay (think so).
Report Check-InUn lugar perfecto para pernoctar, seguro, cómodo y gratuito. Posee todos los servicios. Debes realizar una inscripción en administración del Parque y listo
Report Check-Inas described ... huge sportspark ... toilets are open and have water! there are several toilet houses all over the park! the wifi is almost not existing! little concrete skatepark ... nice!
Report Check-InAt the moment it is definitely not worth it to come here. There is no water in the bathrooms so no showers, and no flush. The wifi is nonexistent. It is a long way out of town. All this means it's not worth it to come here.
Report Check-InQuiet, once the police came to stop the motorcycle racing up and down the Main Street, but lasted about three hours!!! Both nights we stayed the motorcycles woke us up....very loud! Safe and with bathrooms. Nice place to walk around in the evenings. Administration to ask permission to sleep is a marked in IOverlander, 500m walking.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay, we really enjoyed Guayaquil and the park! It’s huge and you have lots of activities above all if you travel with children. They give you a 48h authorization but you can renew it if you can plan to stay longer... we stayed for 3 days and nobody told us anything...
Report Check-InFor sure safest place to stay in Guayaquil.
Rules changed a bit. To registrate the ID's of all travelers are needed.
No WiFi available anymore.
Enorme parque muy bonito; con baños, duchas y un montón de servicios como canchas de fútbol y computadoras gratuitos; solo hay que registrarse con los pasaportes; gente muy amable y servicial
Report Check-Invery cool place
firstly the guards at the entrance said that it was not possible to stay here because they close the gates at 23.00
but 10minutes later an another man has come. he explained that we must go to the administration office in order to have permission. he was very helpful and guided us to the oficina. here they just need our passeport to fill in the document.
in the area you can eat : helados, typical plates and empanadas (between 1,20 and 1,99 each one).
there are so many people practising sport here (foi ball, volley, handball, ...) !
they close at 23.00.
it's really a unique place !
we recommend it
Great place to stay while visiting the city. Free! You just need to ask for permission (passeport needed). We stayed 2 nights. Public wifi. They turn all lights at 11pm (they currently have issues with light and are on generator) and quite quiet for a town. On Thursday, there are motorbike races outside, be aware.
Report Check-Innice place as descrived, pity that men showers has no door... took us 1h by bus to go to the centre..
Report Check-InFantastic park. Clean and safe. It is necessary to register with the administration until the 17:30 hours. All are very attentive and polite. Follow the guidelines and enjoy.
Help other travelers. Always make your check in.
Report Check-InEnormous park. Have to get writtwn permission from the guards, but the process doesn't take too long. Quiet night. Wifi is pretty hit or miss with the external login, but is free. Best free spot in Guayaquil assuming there is not a big event going on at the park.
Report Check-InEnormous park. Have to get permission from the guards in written form, but the process isn't long. Nice quiet night. Wifi is pretty hit or miss with the external login, but is free. Best free spot in Guayaquil assuming there isn't a big even going on.
Report Check-InGPS location is correct, no cricket neither bug. Very good place for free and wifi is working
Report Check-Insuper nice park with lots of sports fields.
toilets are okay but the showers didn't work when we were there. some blocks didn't have water.
Wi-Fi didn't work on any of our devices.
the noise was not bad at all at the main parking. lots of crickets though from dusk. still found some in our van 4 days later.
from us they needed our names, passport# and plate.
A great free and guarded place to stay with full facilities. The Wifi is unlimited, but allows only browsing webpages. Private and quiet sleeping time is only from 23:00 to 6:00 as the park is well used from the locals.
We asked the parking guard if we could stay who send us to the park office to get permission. There we need to register our names - thats it. The whole procedure took us about 15 Minutes, but is possible only during office time. We stayed 3 nights. Into town we took the bus, that drives every 2 Minutes for 0.3$/p and need 30 (Line 131) to 60 (Line 63A) Minutes.
Report Check-InThis place is in wrong location - it is located at -2.10241, -79.90528
Report Check-Inoverlander works wrong! just look in your Gps were is the park and park in the first parking lot.
Report Check-InWe ask to the ing. admintrador if we can sleep in the parking lot and use the park facilities and they offer electricity and stay all the time that we need. Is a guardar 24 hs. The park close the door at 11pm and open at 6am. The bus take 1 hour to get to the center. Supermarket at 30 min walk and small shop at 15 min walk. Bussy during day but safe.Pretty place to spend a few day and visit Guayaquil
