Something not right?

Description

Gravel parking above the riverbanks (grassy area below surrounded by trees under the bridge) There is no vehicle access to their river banks and the grassy area seems to get flooded from time to time.
Ruta 3 is busy in the night, so it's not quite place. But it is olay for one night. It is free.
Tent friendly yes, in the grass below, but be aware of the advice that it can get flooded.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed in the gravel area above the river banks. There is a nice grassy area below but it’s muddy with little ponds and it’s been flooded for sure. Good advice not to camp down there. The Ruta 3 is indeed quite busy but otherwise no issue with the place.

Report Check-In

If you stay this side of the river but the other side of the bridge you have nice places to park and sit outside.

We got here in the dark and parked down by the trees for some wind protection. At about 11pm a guard woke us up and told us to leave because of flooding, so we parked on the parking lot above it. In the morning we saw that the water was not that high, but apparently it tends to flood, so be aware.

lots of space to park and a little grassy area down in the trees away from normal wind. it was blowing over 70kmh and this place wasn't suitable for wind like that. we went to a spot down stream that was more in town where it was better.

Report Check-In

Perfect place to spend a windy day/night. Plenty of spots at both sides of the bridge. Supermarket is close

Report Check-In

Great spot. I stayed here 3 nights. Yes you can hear the traffic over the steel plates on the bridge but it's not that loud.
Trees provide excellent wind shelter.
Big Rigs can park in the generous parking area. There's not much traffic.
Be careful of the tides. The river reaches quite high and over the path that leads to grassy camp opportunities up stream.
Can be busy at the weekend.

Public picnic area. Trees provide good wind shelter but steel plates on bridge means it's noisy. Small vehicles can get next to camp spots.

I checked all campground in this small ridiculous village. All are more expensive. I found small grassy area with surrounded by trees under the bridge. I think here is for only motorcycle, bicycle or backpacker. There is no road or pass for cars. Ruta 3 is busy in the night, so it's not quite place. But it is olay for one night. It is free. I didn't pay 300-400peso for ridiculous campgrounds in the city!
