Description

This is a nature reserve and ecological park with rooms for rent, a swimming pool, hiking trails, waterfalls, a kitchen, restaurant, camping area and sauna. Randomly found this place after getting stuck in traffic for two hours. Cost for camping was $20k per person. They provided towels and soap for the sauna and showers. A great spot that is off the highway that's quiet to break up the drive between Bogota and the coffee zone.

Nice place but really to expensive (40'000 pesos a night) , no electricity, no wifi ! If it's cheaper we will stay more...

4 of us got here at 5pm (owner not present when we arrived) and left by 8 the next day. We camped, used the toilet and had used the only available shower.....cold water by the pool.....and got charged 15000pp....a joke!! Nice surroundings but a rip off.

this spot is amazing! definitely the best spot in the whole area. really nice flat area for campers (we were the only ones) managed to negotiate 15k per person. this nature reserve has some awesome hiking trails and one that leads to a great lil waterfall. has good baños and a sweet little pool. perfect spot for weekdays as likely to be noone else!
loved it!!

Report Check-In

Came here at 8pm and was told by the guard he is not allowed to allow anyone in after 7pm :(

Tried to call Raul the owner but he jist confirmed it was not possible to stay there as it was late... not negotiable.

A shame since it seems like a very nice and beautiful place.

Really enjoyed the tranquility of Santafe Guaduales. Easy to find. Banos OK, but cold showers are the go. Plenty of flat space for vehicles around property. 20,000pp. Raoul and Magdalena great hosts and plenty of birds and walks. A loverly oasis in which to take a break from the drive from Bogota to Salento and around.

A finca that is also a natural reserve. It has a pool, showers, restaurant (pricey), a temascal, and some hiking trails. We paid $40,000 after some negotiation. A bit steep for what it was.

Report Check-In

Not a bad place at all. We stopped here late one night when all other options were closed. The guard was very friendly and let us park in front of the garden. After some negotiations we paid 30k COP. Which is not cheap but we had no other options and it was nice and quiet. Woke up the next morning and had a stroll around a coffee with the owners Raul and his wife who were very welcoming and told us all about their place and their country. Raul is a character but give warmth and respect and you'll probably get it back. They also have a pool, showers and toilets which we did not use.

Report Check-In

Extremely expensive. 35k pp. They don't want you there. Don't go there.

a good place for a stop over. very friendly people. we payed for one night with our RV 25000 and we could use the pool. go at the sign approx. 1000 meter on a narrow road up to the very very end.

Report Check-In

Nice place. We could have happily stayed a few days here. 30,000 pesos each to camp in camper.

Report Check-In

Did not allow camping. Perhaps because we have a rooftop tent or because it's high season. Unfortunately it was already dark, and our only option was a double for 80,000 pesos. Not a good deal since there is little ventilation and no screens on windows, only single beds, cold water, no wifi, no breakfast included. On top of that there was a dead roach in one of the beds! The location is truly beautiful. It would have been a great find if they'd allowed us to camp. As it turned out, this was our worst lodging experience in 6 weeks in Colombia.

Stayed here to break up drive between Salerno and Tatacoa Desert. Beautiful place $20k COP
