Bolivia
In front of the entrance of the military barracks on the street Ferrocaril. This road only gives access to the military barracks, if you spend the night (recommended by the point of tourist office) you have a guard in the corner of your vehicle and no traffic (Except for military maneuvers)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Fine for a night, but there is a fair bit of noise and dogs barking since you are parked in a city. Pizza across the street in hotel is quite good.
We arrived late so we decided to stayed here. It a safe place but really noisy. However at night we slept well and we didn't felt anything. It's not a good place for pets (no grass and very much noisy). I recommend looking for another place.
Report Check-InGood place to stay overnight. we felt very safe. Not really quiet but okay. One other overlander next to us
without a doubt it is the quietest and safest place in the town of Uyuni, 24 hours of security personnel from the army
Report Check-InWe parked opposite the Toñito hotel, along the central pathway. Very busy, vehicles were coming and going all the time. Many people around. Pizza at Minuteman is delicious!
Report Check-InWe spent 4 night here,in front of Toñito hotel. No problem with the military guys, they were very friendly.
Near to the Uyuni market
Hello
We ask to the military if it's ok for ine night with our motorhome.
It was around 06pm and the night was arriving.
They say not. it's a military zone, you can't stay.
Not realy friendly
But you can try
We are going to Emilio Lopez for the night.
Nice but in the morning when we talked to the military guards they said we can't stay too long (we wanted to stay parked during a day-trip at the salar). They were not so friendly and they didn't seem to care too much about keeping an eye on our vehicle....
Report Check-InWe stayed here almost a week! A really good place to stay. Toilets and shower around, laundry, markets (thur and sun big one) - quiet and easy to get everywhere!
Report Check-InThis is a small street with the military barracks at the end (dead end so no traffic). Its right opposite hotel tonino with minuteman restaurant and their famous pizza and is an easy and safe place to park for the night. Free
Report Check-Inyou must stay along the yellow wall on the right side. place for 2 big gigs. we stay 2 nights. no problem
