Nice place with air-con and a little terrace in front of the room we got. Also a small kitchen and a cold shower. Good parking for cars and motorcycles behind a locked gate. Good WiFi.

Normal price $16pppn, but iOverlander discount to $12pppn! Maria says that overlanders get a discount because they're typically more flexible than regular guests. :)

At first she offered a private room upstairs with private cold shower, but I asked for a room on the ground floor and got a three-bed room with private bathroom and hot shower all to myself! Extended for a second night and she asked (and I readily agreed) to move me to a two-bed room with shared bath and hot shower, still at the $12pppn discount price.

Dorm beds are $10pppn with shared bathroom with hot shower.

$1/night moto parking down the street at her friend's house in enclosed courtyard--he offered to put it INSIDE (!!!) his house, but unfortunately my moto is too wide.

30 min walk or 4-dollar, 10-min taxi ride to/from the airport ($1.50 extra for taxi rides departing the airport).

Safe street parking in a safe neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants just 200m away on the main street.

Clean and mellow place. Small kitchen to cook, free potable water, common area to use and parking spot in front. $12 pppn, delicious breaky $3.5 pp. Maria is a great and very helpful host. Highly recommended!

Maria has rooms for $12pp/pn. With secure parking in her garage for motocycles. She has parking in the front of the house for cars and trucks, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe.
She has very good WIFI and basic bathrooms.
The location is very close to the Guayaquill airport and terminal and she offers help or transport to and from the airport. ALSO ... if you need somewhere to park your motorcycle whilst you're away she is more than happy to accommodate!
Maria is a very helpful and friendly lady that welcomes people into her home with open arms!
I would highly recommend this place!

This is a labor of love. Do not hesitate to visit! $12 per person including breakfast. A wonderful, friendly family runs this place. Comfortable beds, good wifi, kitchen, bathroom, fans in room, movies to watch and games to play. Pilar is happy to cook other meals for you as well. One of the daughters speaks English well. The others are patient with communication. They are a great resource for all things to explore in Guayaquil (iguana park, free museums, botanical garden, etc) as well as for where to buy snorkel gear (incase you are heading to the Galapagos) or find a supermarket, etc. Sometimes Vicente is able to act as taxi driver for airport runs and such, which was super convenient. Otherwise they are happy to arrange a taxi or uber for you. Buses are easy as well. It was fast and convenient to take a bus from the bus terminal terrestre to their home (you are able to walk to the bus terminal from the airport as well). They go above and beyond! A great experience.
