A beautiful garden with space for our big rig. Marion and René are very nice.
Only wifi at the site is weak, but at the house it is good.
Gs 60.000/night for 2 people

Report Check-In

Warmhearted lovely hosts, daily sundowner ritual with the travelling gang, everything clean and well equipped, 60.000 guarani for 2 in a camper - go for it!

Report Check-In

I stayed here during quarantaine for more than three months. For many weeks I wasn't allowed to go outside because of my age. Marion did all my shopping for me and looked after me in every way possible. Their beautiful garden and swimming pool and their great kindness made this time memorable . I cannot thank them enough for this wonderful support.

Report Check-In

Thank you very much, Marion ans René, dor your warm welcome and spontaneous help in times of world-wide health crisis! We are looking forward to hopefully seeing you again before the year is over 🤓

Report Check-In

Great location to stay again. Super pool super people. See you next time!!!

Report Check-In

What a place to stay. Beautyful located with a view on the lake. Fresh drinking water is avabele from the tab everywhere on the camping ground.
The owners René and Marion are very friendli and will help for any issues you might have.
We staid for about 2 weeks. It’s a great place to meet other overlanders as you will mostly meet several when you are there. It was great to fix some things on our car during the day and have a chat with other overlanders in the evening at the campfire.
Everything provided and treated with a Swiss/German charm and quality.
Highly recommend place to stay.

P.s if you ask for it you will get served with a delicious swiss fondue!! We loved it!!

Report Check-In

Thank you Marion and René for your hospitality and kindness. We really enjoyed the stay and the warm welcome and farewell. The place is as described before and defenitely one of the best in Paraguay. They also sell meat, sausages, marmelade, beer and pasta, all in best quality. You can even order real Swiss fondue, what a blast!

Report Check-In

Gastfreundschaft pur. Einer der schönsten Flecken Südamerikas.

Report Check-In

Nice place. 80.000 pn.
Nice showers, not electric. Wifi was unstable. Two times there was a power cut-off.
Very friendly owners.

Report Check-In

See other descriptions. Nothing changed. Relaxed place.

Report Check-In

Great place to meet other overlanders. Nice pool area, and very clean bathrooms and toilets. Washing machine with hot water! I didn't try the pasta but it seems to come very highly recommended. My only issue was the price at Pg80,000. Traveling alone and not even hooking up to power because I'm on 110v, $13 is too much. They should rethink the one price per vehicle issue.

Report Check-In

Rene & Marion thanks again for a wonderful stay at your place. I do hope you cam sell it and it will stay the happy place it is.

Report Check-In

We enjoyed the warm welcome and happy atmosphere of this place. Great to touch base with other travellers, share some beers at the „sundowner plaza“ or sit around the large fireplace. Great for children, too: one of our boys learned swimming in the pretty and clean pool. René and Marion are great and amiable hosts. We made many new friends here and, as almost everyone else, ended up staying longer than planned.

Report Check-In

even better than last year. Now with a seperate banos spotless clean and a Camp-Kitchen with hotplates and fridge. One of the best spots for taking a break from travelling.

Report Check-In

great place, you immediately become friends with Rene and Marion ... and other campers. we've come again and again!

Report Check-In

Still, even without the cooking, the place to visit. An institution rather than just a campground, where you're more a part of the family rather than just a customer. So you get to socialize with all the other visitors.
Only thing, if you feel the need to go to Asunción, it is a 250,000 Gs taxi ride away, or figure out a way to use the bus system.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

One more time we stay in hasta la pasta. Second time we spend the swiss national day her and it was great to celebrate this event with marion and rené and other overlanders (Foto) Everything still the same, except marion is just cooking for special events and you can order swiss-cheese-fondue for every day. 75'000g pp. Just come and enjoy

If you are any sort of overlander you simply can't miss this place. Super nice owners offer everything you need.
80 000 PYG (2pers + car)

Report Check-In

Our way leads several times over hasta la pasta to Marion and Rene, two lovely hosts where Overlander are always welcome and you just "feel at home".
The perfect place to relax, meet Overlander, enjoy the pool, sit by the campfire in the evening, enjoy the beautiful ambience and have a break from the journey.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay as everyone else stated before. Next towns for shopping are out of walking distance. Those with big rigs need to organize with others to access.

Report Check-In

A real paradise high above the heat of asuncion. Everything as described. Rene and Marion are so welcoming, it as hard to leave after a week. The sanitaries are brand new, super clean hot showers and toilets, new washingmachine (hot water!) for 20'000 G per machine, price to camp is now 80'000 G per car. Pool is just amazing, very recommended place

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Yes, we stayed here again, now the 4 time and we are not the only ones.Like everybody says it's a perfect place and the best one in paraguay. It's even worth to visit paraguay and hasta la pasta, only to relax and enjoy the time here and to meet other overlanders.

If you like a place with friendly and helpfull owners, (the organized for us Spanish lessons on the camp ground, for 25000g per hour) and spend time with other overlanders at the campfire, eat good food and relax, you should check out this place

Report Check-In

Good place to stay a few nights (60000PYG/car even a big rig with 2 kids). Nice Swimmingpool. Delicious homemade pastas. Clean sanitaries but a bit few if the camping is full. Sandy, shady spaces, thus dusty as well. One very nice place next to the concrete plateform if you don't like sand like we do. René and Marion are really a very nice couple and very welcoming. Washing machine available for 10000PYG/each.

Report Check-In

Piscine.

Lindo e amplo lugar. Ótimo para relaxar.

Great place to stay and relax for a while. Beautiful campsite, top quality, open year round. We stayed for 6 nighgs and had a wonderful time. Meals are delicious (breakfast and dinner) and a perfect opportunity to share travel experiences with other overlanders and the owners. Great homemade pasta, if you ask you might even get to help in the pasta production ;)

As everyone else wrote before: wonderful place to relax and meet other overlanders, great hosts, delicious food & clean facilities. Best value for money - highly recommended!

Report Check-In

5 Stars !!!!! :-)

definitiv a pity to stay only for one nigth. very quiet and enjoyable to rest.
basically no tent, but RTW travellers with motorbikes get an exeption. best campspot on my 4 year travel around the world!

Report Check-In

Yup to everything written below! Loved it here. Great place, lovely people. Stayed for 6 days but could easily have stayed longer. Pool is amazing in the January heat. Food is delicious but you need to arrange in advance (if you will arrive late and want to eat when you arrive, then it's best to call ahead). Most of the time we were the only campers there, but there is only one bathroom with shower & toilet, so there could be queues if there are several vehicles. 60,000G per night (truck & 2 people). Reasonable price for the good quality of the place.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, very hospitable owners, clean. Nice and shady, lovely pool, many birds, including chickens (fresh eggs). A place to stay for a while! And don't forget to buy the homemade chili noodles

Report Check-In

one of a few "not-to-miss" spots. By far the best camping in Paraguay. Suitable for all sizes, just the last 3km are a littly bumpy. Safe and quite. Overlooking the lake and Asuncion under shady trees. Relax at the pool and enjoy the hospitalty of Marion and Rene.Good and clean facilities. Don´t miss the great food. Marion is a phantastic cook. The only danger is that you stay much longer than planned. For us two days became two weeks. Rene orgianized an appointment with a Dentist for us and can help if you need parts or a good garage.

We loved it

Report Check-In

One of the best place to stay in Paraguay! René have a lot of informations about the Chaco and the Mennonites. It's worth to go there! Marion cooks very good, and the place is very relaxed. René has connections to help when you have problems with the car.

Report Check-In

This place is very beautiful and Renée and Marion are very Nice and welcoming. The downside are the very very slow wifi (don't count on it) and only one shower/bathroom for all the campers, you Will have to wait. There is a hose and water if you need to clean your car. Diner is good. 60k for a camper and 2 pax. The campground is not really big so your are close to other camper. There is a very very expensive market in Saint Bernardino on Saturday. We don't speak german and felt a little bit lonely with everyone speaking german... Good place to see the towns around.

Report Check-In

Hasta La Pasta is a Swiss/German couple (Rene&Marion) owned campground/cabana place. They have a business on the side of making home-made delicious pasta -hence the name. Fun loving, friendly people. Camping at the back of their property, plenty of space, very chilled and shady. Pool, (slow) wifi, fire pit w/BBQ, shower/wc, electr/water h/up, plus washer drier. They are laid back and let us dismantle our truck's radiator on their ground. They have 3 dogs with an alpha female -check with them if you have a dog. We paid 30mill / pers.
