Nicolas was very nice and helpfull. Very good prices. I recommend this place.

Report Check-In

Nico is excellent! We came around in the morning and he had time for us two hours later. Quick diagnosis, repair and great service. We had a problem with our coupling, needed a spare part, everything solved within one hour. The repair shop is very solid, friendly employees. And fair prices in the end. What a luck to have such competent and nice people around.

He moved around the corner, where it said Henrique. I tried to change the coords. Nico is excellent. Fast, intelligent, and he watched his mechanic who helped and did the hard parts. Thanks! So you know, he can press bearings into control arms (buje de parilla is Argentina lol), and repair CV boots. So don’t get the whole part in someone’s luggage like I did and had to pay lots of taxes 🤦

12000 ARS to change a parilla (control arm) and a right CV half shaft assembly. He can also review your rig to look for suspension/steering issues.

Absolutely saved us ! His English is fine and he repaired our air bag problem ( rusted nut and bolt that broke loose ) in short order. Needed two trips to the parts place ( caught them at siesta ) which he did without complaint. Super nice guy….very very fair price. Highly recommended

we came to do some alignment and balance and change a tire that we've lost on ripio.
the mechanic - Nicholas - had 2 van like our Hyundai H100, we felt safe to do everything we needed with him.
we ended doing a little more things than we planned before, but it worth!
very good service. fair price!!!

Went there to get the suspension system revised (Nissan). Nico spent 30min to check everything, including the brakes (which I didn't ask). He provided me with some recommendations and explaining that for Nissan, I can get cheapeast prices in Chile.
He didn't make me pay anything at all. Great professional!

Report Check-In

Very friendly and polite. We had a vibration in our Renault Master and he answered all our questions with patience. Very recommended.

Report Check-In

Was the only mechanic our of 4 others in Calafate who even gave us the time of day. Our front diff blew out halfway between Calafate and Puerto Natales, and no one wanted to look underneath, given the fact that we’re driving a Ford with Chilean plates. Everyone suggested just getting a tow over to Punta Arenas!!!! Nico solved the problem by switching over our traction to our back wheels, and we were on our way again!

Report Check-In

Nico did it! When we told him that our additional diesel heating (Webasto) didn't work anymore, he said that he had never seen such a thing before. In spite of that he said he would have a look at it. We had outside temperatures around zero degrees during the nights and also during the day it was very cold and windy. So we needed the heating really urgently to prevent the water from turning to ice. And Nico did it! He studied the system, got a clue of its function very quickly, drove to an electrician to check the pump and to a shop to buy a new filter and in the end everything was working properly again. Best experience so far in South America. The fact that Nico speaks English decently made it all very easy for us.

Report Check-In

Would highly recommend this mechanic. Nick was knowledgeable, quick and super laid back/friendly, and speaks excellent English. He replaced our broken radiator hose for us on the spot, then we came back a few days later and had him replace a control arm bushing for us. He had everything done efficiently and quickly and charged a very fair price.

Nico is very carefully and good mechanical, also very friendly. He fixed our VW Kombi gearing for reasonable price. He allowed was to camping in the parking area of his mechanic shop for one week till the parts arrive. We really recommend this guy!

Report Check-In

Helpful and speedy. We had a faulty hydraulic line in our power steering and these guys found and fixed it quickly. That said, we couldn't get the right parts so we now have a very South American solution - an air hose instead of a hydraulic line. Frankencar rides again! We will need to replace the line again in a bigger town but the mechanic was very clear in explaining this. 400 pesos for about 30-45 mins work. Would recommend.

A very friendly and knowledgeable mechanic. Doesn't speak a lot of English though. But there are many people around to help. We had a minor problem and he helped us very fast and even though he had a lot to do. He also didn't want any money for his advices and we had to convince him to take our tip. Definitely recommendable!

Report Check-In

We came here because we had a number of issues pop up in our car all at once. Our check engine light came on, alarm wouldn't stop going off and needed an oil change too. Nico and the team were friendly and changed our oil and filter, even went down to the store to buy the oil etc. for us. It's probably better to bring your own. Took several hours. They also said the check engine issue was nothing but it came back on again after we left. They reccomended the blue shed electromechanic just down the road for the alarm system, since they said he knows more about those things (the team there ended up fixing the problem with our check engine light too!). A good experience overall, other than the CEL. Only spanish spoken with us, but we didn't try to ask in English.

Nico is an excellent mechanic with good English,he and his guys sorted a number of issues including an electrical problem on our aux system and re tracked our Landcruiser to put the steering wheel straight (after having it tracked in Ecuador). Also service, replaced all of the belts, greased the prop shaft (which required removal and clean out of the grease nipples. Plus a full check of suspension and steering. And very reasonably priced. It is good to find someone that is knowledgable and has attention to detail. Highly Recomended

Observamos un ruido en una de las correas de nuestro 4x4 a la vez que aprovechamos para preguntar por los problemas que podíamos tener si ensanchábamos las ruedas. Las explicaciones y la revisión del motor fueron de un profesional. Recomendable.
