Must be reserved in advance if you want a regular campsite. However RVs can camp overnight on the parking lot which is a rather nice location right near the water. $35/night, free showers.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Beautiful beach side rv park, was space during the week to drive in without a reservation but we couldn’t stay until the weekend as it was fully booked
Report Check-InOne of the best provincial camps. Some camp spots are shared but most are very private with table and fire pit. Showers are for free, bathrooms clean. We came on a Wednesday as a walk in but could stay 2 nights. One night is $35.
Report Check-InWe did not reserve a site in advance, but were able to stay overnight in the Day Use parking lot for 3 nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). This option required registration and payment of $35/night (otherwise vehicle could be towed). Most of the day users cleared out of the parking lot by about 8pm, and the lot remained quiet through the night. There were at least 4-5 other RVs/vans parked overnight each night we stayed. We felt very safe since the Day Use parking lot is inside of the fenced and gated campground area, and the gates are locked from 11pm until 7am.
Report Check-InBeautiful huge campground. Modern, spotless facilities. Small space between, but also trees between campsites. Generous size site. A little noisy with kids during the day, but that settles down after dinner. Less than 15 minutes to Kelowna
Closed for season. The barrier is down so it impossible to go in right now and see how the campsites are. But from the road, they look lovely. Unfortunately, it’s closed for 2021..
Report Check-InFrom the day use area you can walk to the free hot showers at the campground. Not completely fair but sometimes you just really need a shower...
Report Check-InNear Kelowna on Okanogen Lake. Stayed here off season. Seniors are half price till June 15 and after Labour Day. Most sites are still dry camping but there are a few sites with power.($45./nt.
Report Check-InPrevious descriptions and photos are accurate. Very nice and well taken care of campground right on the water. Sites are good sized and groomed for privacy. Off season is still $35 and they’ve shut down about 1/4 of the sites due to the lower volume of campers. They offer wood bundles for fire - $10 per bundle or 3 for $25
Report Check-InWe didn't need a reservation. They have a few more campsites now. 143 sites in total. Many right at the water. I would say it's not one of these awful RV-Only-Campsites but obviously you won't be alone either. Definitely good for a night, especially if you wanna check out Kelowna.
Our spot (no hook up) came with a fire bin and a picnic table. The bathrooms include showers and there is a nice beach. We paid 35$ in high season.
