Description

MODERATOR NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals.

we arrived here Sunday afternoon about 17:00 september 15 2019. when we parked at the upper-site 2 guards came on a motorbike and told us it was not allowed to stay overnight. a long discussion telephone call with (we think) the manager, end of story we had to leave. went to Najafabad red cross overland place it is a terrible place close to the high way. It is going to be dark so we stayed here.

Latest Check-Ins

Didn't sleep well. Very busy and loud. After 1 it got quiet except for some annoying dogs...
Good to park the van and take a snapp into town, but don't plan to sleep well before 1, even during the week.
For two days and nights we paid 320.000 IRR

Report Check-In

Okay for big car. Very easy to find and easy to park.
You can go with SNAPP! Taxi to the town and back.
Not sure about price.
I was giving them 50k Toman after 4 day parking.
expect noises from 7am till 11pm

Report Check-In

I parked the motorhome at last place after a guard open the fence. It was a very quiet night without noise in a safe place. I don t need water or toilet for me. Ask to the guard to leave you parking at the most upper parts.

Report Check-In

lots of people coming here at night during ramadan but the guards at the entrance were very friendly and told us to go to the very top of the parking lot, to enter we just have to pull on the lock of the gate and it will open. closed it behind us and had a perfectly quiet night, nobody disturbing us and no noise from parking lots beneath!

Report Check-In

Since all city-parkings were either full or did not allow sleeping in the car, we ended up here.
Parking is free for foreigners 😀
Sleeping is no problem, but tents not allowed 😀
Security-guards patrol at night 😀.
Two downsides :
It is 10km from town (the famous bridge).
It is busy (read noisy) at night with young people "cruzing".

Report Check-In

Very noisy.
We are on Friday and a lot of young with their car playing very loud music.

Report Check-In

We had a terrible night here. People were blasting music from their car radios until late at night, launched fireworks (our dog went crazy) and decided it would be fun to have car races on the parking lot in the middle of the night.

Report Check-In

Great place, super friendly guards who didn't mind us sleeping there

Quiet parking lot, weren't bothered by anyone and slept well. Good place for people with a larger car to leave it there and take Snapp cabs to the city

Report Check-In

Slapping was fine! We stayed one night and paid 30.000 Rial. There is a tap near the trees on the left where you can top up your tank.

Report Check-In

We stayed for two nights here without problems. Nice as it is close to the cliffs. For those interested we found quite a few bolted sports climbing routes.

Report Check-In

Big parking above cable car station. Although guys at the entrance told us 'no sleeping' when we entered, we were not bothered during the two nights we stayed. There are cameras and occasionally a guard comes around with scooter, so they for sure knew we stuck around. 4G Irancell. Free, quiet, nice views.

Report Check-In

Huge parking lot over the cable car station with a view over the city and the mountains for free. Toilet 5 min away in the park. Guarded.
3G with MTC SIM
