Description

US$10 per night for camping, $1 per night to store your vehicle. Great place near the airport with free shuttle service. Wifi, toilet, warm shower, grassy patch with ponies, geese and swimming pool, big hard-standing area for any size of vehicle, electricity available. Approaching from the north, leave the main road a mile or so before the campground (hop onto the older gravel road which runs alongside it, on the right, and follow that road until it curves round to the right; ring the bell at the big black gate on your right).

Miguel is a great guy, we let our car here for 30 days, paid 30 USD! the prices are a little bit confused, but ask for 1 dollar a day.

Great value for money, excellent place to store our truck for 7 nights while visiting the Galapagos, February 2019 - and please note the price is $10 per night for camping BUT only $1 per night for storage. A warm welcome from Miguel, who gave us a lift to and from the airport; gate and cameras make the place feel secure; decent WiFi, warm shower, clean toilet, electricity available. Pleasant green environment with geese, ponies, turkeys etc. Small swimming pool, not in use while we were there. Highly recommended.

We left our van here for 6 weeks while leaving the country. No issues.
Our kids had fun playing with puppies, ponies, chickens, ducks and more.

Report Check-In

$10/ vehicle for a night. The guy in site was bringing the wifi password in a minute without us even asking for it. Not sure about the restrooms and shower thing. Roosters having competition all night, good luck sleeping.

Great, cheap, and secure spot to leave your car (or to camp!) There is someone there 24/7, there are cameras, and they'll even drop off/pick up from the airport at no extra cost. If you're *leaving* your car, the price per day goes down the longer you're gone. We were gone for 8 weeks and paid only $10/*WEEK*! If you camp, yes it's $10/day. Highly recommended.

Parked our van here for 9 weeks while away working. Paid 90 even. Very secure, owner lives on site. Owner is very friendly. Would highly recommend for long term storage. It bothers me that Tony Lee would recommend otherwise and slander the name of this top notch parking facility.

We left our camper here for 6 weeks while we were at home and payed 10$ a week for parking. If you stay in the car they charge 10$ a day. Great and cheap place and relyable free shuttleservice.

Major change in price so I'll edit the main entry

good place to stay for one or two nights if you have some things to do at the airport. or you want go to galapagos and leave your car or RV on this place, with free shuttle, a tip will be acceptet ;-) , its a secure place whith 24hr. security. they take now 10 $ a day for rv's whether you're there or not, electricity is available, also wifi, but very weak. there is no access from the airport road. use the turn off s0.18798 w78.33723 close to the roundabout. drive down the parallel road, use the tunnel under the highw. ( is high enough) and after 200 m you are at the black gate to the place.

We arrived there and discovered that they raised their prices like crazy! Now, if you have a campervan (or any vehicle in which you can sleep) it will cost you 10 dollars a night, even just for the parking. We were planning to leave our vehicle there for a week while flying to the Galapagos and they asked us for 80 dollars, of course we declined and went to "Parqueadero San José" which has super friendly owners and for which we paid 30 dollars for 10 days. They also have hot showers, a free shuttle for the airport and wifi.

Nice and calm place for overnight. Charged USD 10,00 per car. Warm shower, bathroom and Wi-Fi working good. When there dont forget to bring some "galletitas" for the chickens.

Charged $5 to camp and $20 for the week of parking. This included airport transfers, use of bathroom and hot showers. Very friendly. Wifi was available but not working when we were there.

Great location by the airport. Run by Miguel who is a legend. He even just took me for lunch at his friends restaurant. WIFI, hot showers, toilets and all set in an idyllic location with mini horses, turkeys and peacocks.

Report Check-In

Great place! They charge $20 to park for a week, $30 for two weeks, or $6 for a day. Look on their website for directions. When you click through from iOverlander to the map apps it looks like Parqueadero VIP is on the road that accesses the airport. Actually, it's on a parallel road.

Report Check-In
