Description

This RV Trailer Park was difficult to find off the main Boulevard Tepic-Xalisco, but it turned out that is because the entrance is in a commercial Plaza (Luna Lima) beside an OXXO (and across the street from Pemex 7989). The park itself has a clearance of 13 feet to get into, but once inside there are about 12 nice grass spots. Each spot has a leveling pad and a cement pad for tables/chairs/cooking etc. There is a small washroom with running water, flush toilets (with toilet seats) and a shower stall. Electricity, Water and Dumping are also located at each site. Large trees at each site offer splendid cover for all that can fit through the entrance. Price for camping depends on vehicle. For a van we paid $MX 285.

Our 2nd stay here on return drive north. Easy check in. Cost 302 pesos for Toyota 4runner with RTT & 2 people. Both banos & showers now open. Outdoor sink in corner of property. Plenty of flat grass to camp on. Only place in Tepic we found to camp at. Good location & totally safe.

Report Check-In

Great little park, they give two night free if you book for a week. The red Centro-Xalisco bus comes straight past and can take you into town for 10 pesos. comes very often

Report Check-In

It’s like a little oasis in the middle of the city. Plenty of flat space to camp & trailers can turn around in there. One clean banos & water spigots nearby. Good place to camp for a night.

Report Check-In

Camping sympa pour se reposer après avoir pris le ferry. Il y a de l’herbe et des arbres.
390 pesos pour un truck camper avec eau, dump, électricité et wifi.

Report Check-In

Wonderful stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Owners are great people. There is a cafe and some eateries within walking distance. We particularly liked stopping here after our long ferry ride and rested for several days.

Report Check-In

Beautiful rv park with lots of spaces, green areas, electricity, sewage dump and hot showers.
285 mxn pesos the night. Kind of far from downtown but well worth the extra distance to stay. Quiet and peaceful. There are firefly’s at night

Report Check-In

It was a pleasant surprise! Beautiful park with lots pf trees. The staff is super nice. 15 minutes bike ride to the historic center. Decent wifi.

Report Check-In

Great little park. Staff is so nice. Shaded spots. Surprisingly quiet although right off the main road. Heed the 13 foot maximum and then you are good to go. Clean bathrooms, nice people and would definitely recommend.

Report Check-In

Nice place, relatively quiet considering the location. High trees with shade. Price for camping depends on vehicle. For a van we paid $MX 285.

Report Check-In

Still going strong! The attendant was nice, there was only one other camper, it was nice to be close to stores and great street tacos a 2 min walk away. Centro is an 8 minute Didi away. Our dogs were able to be off leash the entire time. Thanks to everyone else, we found it quickly. We had no problems getting in with a 22' C Class RV. Great water pressure from the spigot and healthy electricity (verified with my smart surge protector). The wifi wasn't stable enough to use for work.

Report Check-In

Very green little campsite with 12 spots. We paid $350 pesos for the site- no electricity or water. There are showers and toilets. Felt very safe. The gate closes 8pm and opens 6:30am
Wi-Fi was good.
We did hear the odd train through the night and then cockerels very early in the morning (6-6:30am) but yet I felt really well rested and enjoyed hearing the birds and watching the squirrels acrobatics
All in all a grand place

Report Check-In

Yes! It’s IN the shopping center! Don’t give up! It’s there!!! See my picture attached 😊

Report Check-In

beau terrain en pleins coeur de la ville, situé derrière un petit centre commercial qui donne l'impression d'être en dehors de la ville.
Nous y avons passer la nuit entièrement seuls.

Report Check-In

Really nice spot and surprisingly quiet and peaceful for being right in the city. As reported, full hookups and wifi comes and goes. Bathroom/showers clean, hot water, lower water pressure but not the worst by a long shot. We really appreciated all the beautiful blooming trees and fruiting plants and also a big, wild honey bee hive in the tree next to us.

Report Check-In

285 pesos a night. Clean fully equipped toilets with hot showers. Dump stations water faucets and uncertain electrical outlets . WiFi comes and goes but is reasonable usually. Eduardo manages the place and his wife can do laundry and he can order purified water for delivery if you ask him. There is vehicle traffic from the street but the campground is grassy and shaded and very peaceful with high walls and no insects bugging you. A peaceful retreat in a busy city.

Report Check-In

nice place. we paid 340 Pesos today for one night. no difference if dry camping or not.

Report Check-In

Muy buen lugar. Espacios bien definidos con servicios, agua, electricidad (15ah). 285 pesos por noche, vale la pena. Nos quedamos 2 noches y dormimos perfectamente bien. También cuentan con lavandería sin costo adicional.

Report Check-In

A peaceful oasis in Tepic. Perfect spot after a night on the Baja ferry. Grassy and lush parking area with with full hookups and plenty of space. 13’ clearance to get into the place.

Report Check-In

lovely little RV Park in town, beautiful oasis in a city. owner is very friendly, speaks a little English, very accommodating. lots are level with cement pad, h2o, electrical and dump at site. entrance 13 feet with a gate that is locked at 9 pm. directly behind OXXO and the most delicious restaurant. Wifi is great. We were the only ones here.

Report Check-In

Highly recommended. Beautiful well maintained campground, gated. They have all hook ups and WiFi. We have an Sprinter van and they charged us $285 pesos per night. We spent 3 days at this place just to relax.

Report Check-In

Here is current phone number 3111330444 - edouardo - it is excellent we will stay again next week

Report Check-In

Safe place to stay if you’re passing through Tepic. Nice guy who owns it and hot showers.

Report Check-In

It's a nice place in the green in the middle of the city. You don't notice anything of the city. The site is fenced in and monitored by video. We felt comfortable and safe. The owners are very friendly.

Report Check-In

Nice little oasis to stay. We stopped for a shower, but found out that we have some technical issues with our car, so stayed for a night. There was a guy working there they was really helpful, did hold a flashlight while I was working on engine and got us taxi to ride to parts store. They also have some rooms for rent, did not stay and ask for a price, but they did look pretty good!

Report Check-In

This is a very nice place to stay. Many places in the shady. Very friendly owners!
The entrance is a little hard to find. I edited a picture. Entrance is below the red arrow.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground with full hook-up, hot showers, good Wifi, very quiet and friendly owners. Fred & Emmy

Report Check-In

A little oasis in the middle of a city. The family is totally friendly and helpful and can even speak a little English. There were hot showers and a super clean bathroom. We felt very comfortable and safe here. the campground has a big gate, plenty of shaded areas, portable water, electricity and WiFi was also available. We paid 285 MXN per night for our van and two people. if you stay 7 nights you only pay for 5.

Report Check-In

Google maps can locate the entrance to the campground next to the Oxxo with ease. The entrance has a clearance of 13 feet and it’s a broad east drive into the camping area. Each spot has electricity, 15 amps, a water faucet and a dump site with a large cement pad for camp furniture under broad shade trees.
The bathrooms are spotless with seat toilet paper and hot water in the showers.
The WiFi works. Staff are friendly and helpful for the campers as well as the renters in the apartments.
Highly recommended. April 2022.

Report Check-In

we did not like the place. There are many fruit trees there and the fallen fruit attracted countless cockroaches. Every place was full of them (but not the bathrooms). While we were away a dog left a pool of pee on our chair. In another corner was a large pile of feces for days. Payed 285 pesos per night (1 vehicle, 2 adults).

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice small rv Park, full service, in center of town, shadow and green grass, 285 $mx x night 😉 van and 3 People.

Report Check-In

285mxp per night for two people in sprinter van.
We stayed for four nights. No one was there during the week. Very peaceful and the showers were hot. The owner is very nice. A great stop for us to get reorganized. The wifi was strong and night and in the mornings once everyone left the office buildings. It was weak most of the day.

Report Check-In

Can't believe there is no one else here. This place is magical! Worth stopping at regardless where you are heading. Just big enough to fit our 29' trailer comfortably. $440 a night. Is it worth it - you bet water, electric, sewage disposal, hot, clean showers and iffy wifi. We slept like babies amongst the trees. Will definitely stop here again in April on our way home.

Report Check-In

It’s still here!
Great place.
Dog friendly as long as you pick up the poop.

Report Check-In

The people very kind. The place is immaculate. Cannot believe you're in a big city.

Report Check-In

Had to camp here for a night. Too late to ride out of town.Lovley spot next to a nice cafe.
Fidel is friendly. Place was empty which was kind of of sad. It's well kept.
I had decent wifi, felt safe, friendly owner, didn't get a hot shower. It probably isn't worth his while turning on the gas heater for 1 camper.
It was so hot I preferred a cold shower anyway.
Definitely worth coming here.

Report Check-In

nice little green patch in the city. it was our plan b and more than we wanted to pay ($285 for a truck). The family were super friendly and helpful. Hot showers, wifi. one other rig. nice trees.

Report Check-In

We like the spot, but can't justify the ridiculous pricing structure. Our relatively small 28' Class A was 418 pesos per night. I mentioned that we didn't even plug into electric, but there was no negotiating. Hot showers were not working. Good fast WiFi. We won't return, but only because the price was double what it should be for our rig.

Report Check-In

Just as everyone says, it’s a gem! We paid $285 a night- Very clean bathroom with hot shower. Fast internet

Report Check-In

A Fabulous Oasis. We stopped there for just the one night, immaculate grassy area, with level concrete pads, hot showers, clean bathrooms.
Highly recommended

Report Check-In

It’s all been said before! We stayed 2 nights and had the oasis to ourselves over the weekend. Beautifully manicured property with excellent shade trees. Nice clean bathrooms. Don’t know status of the hot water. WiFi seems to work sometimes. Groundskeeper is very friendly and accommodating. A great stopover oasis. You can forget you are in a city aside from background noise.

Report Check-In

nice RV park with hot showers, wifi , near the town but very quiet and beautiful.
we stayed here 2 nights and paid 120 pesos per night with a ⛺.

Report Check-In

great spot cool and comfortable stayed 3 nights can't miss hot showers and hook ups close to all!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nothing to add that others have not said. An oasis. We are on two motorcycles and parked the bikes on the cement slab and setup tent on the grass. One other couple here in a van camper night we were here. As someone else commented, the GPS coordinates given in original listing will incorrectly route you (via Google maps) to a very bumpy (no fun on a loaded motorcycle) dead end street that butts up to the brick wall around the campground. When that happened to us, remembered that the pictures showed an OXXA store near entrance, so I searched for nearest OXXA and re-routed to that and it put us in the right spot. I have updated coordinates for this location to a point in the strip mall parking lot, and I checked google routing and you should be ok using these coordinates - it will bring you to the right place. Hard to believe you are in the right place, turning into a strip mall parking lot, but that is where the entrance is!

Report Check-In

Ditto to all the post below. Took taxi to central off town for 80 pesos/50 back. a great place.

Report Check-In

Great spot - agree with other's comments. We took a taxi to the city center and for 80 pesos in and 50 out (?). Lots of fun.

Report Check-In

Entrance as described before.
Be careful our GPS wanted us to drive in from the back. There iis no back entrance!
Sites as described, very shady under trees.
Before choosing site check where your electrical connection is.

In the middle of the busy, cacophonous city of Tepic, Nayarit, Mx, you wouldn't think Los Pinos, a quiet, restive park to spend the night, would even exist. ¡De nuevo, la magia de México! This is a beautiful place to spend the night, and we were the only ones here!
Exquisitely maintained, full of citrus trees (lima dulce), exotic plants, and giant nopal cactus. Fidel and his wife Charlote are very friendly and accommodating, including troubleshooting and weak WiFi signal. Water pressure a bit weak except when the pump is on. As others have mentioned, you enter a mini-mall and go under an archway. Clearance 13 ft. We had no problem with our truck camper. All sorts of cafes, restaurants, pizza parlors, and convenience stores within easy walking distance. Well worth the minor hassle of driving through Tepic to reach the park. Fidel and his wife can use the business.

Great place!
Quiet, well maintained!
We paid $280 pesos for the night

Report Check-In

Very nice place in the middle of the city. Paid 280 pesos/night. All the places have electricity and water. We filled our water tank with it and didn't fell ill ;) the owner takes really care of this place!

Report Check-In

Amazing oasis in the middle of a huge city. The directions are incorrect. Stay on the boulevard and look for Luna Lima plaza. The entrance is in there. It’s hard to find but worth it. I am attaching a pic of the plaza. It’s the only entrance.

Report Check-In

Great spot ! We were alone. They give us a lamp and wash the restrooms for us. Very friendly! electricity and water next to the spot. a lot of trees. Paid 280 pesos. You have to enter in the plaza.

Report Check-In

We found the RV Park as described. We were the only guest. The manager doesn't speak English, but we were able to communicate with him. The RV Park is on a nice lawn. Since it was very wet our RV got stuck. The manager hat to tow us out with his pickup.

Report Check-In

This is the entrance to Los Pinos RV Trailer Park to help others find it easily. Google maps sends you around the back street instead of here.

Report Check-In

Beautiful little city campground. High walls. New green grass. Clean bathrooms and showers. Quiet for the city. Van 280 pesos/ noche.

Report Check-In

We arrived to find out if that the RV Park was temporarily closed due to a recent re-sodding of the grounds. We were able to negotiate 100 pesos to stay the night in the parking area that included no services. We did have use of the WiFi

Report Check-In

I don't know what happened to the friendly owner from the other reviews! One of the employees was here instead and quoted us 285 pesos or 15usd a night for full hookups for our van. We were able to get him down to 180 with the promise that we were not going to use electricity, but he was very reluctant. He "turned on" the boiler for the showers and told us to wait for it to heat up. The showers were still cold. Then we saw he had put the boiler on the lowest setting so we went ahead and turned it up ourselves! The bathrooms weren't as clean as the other reviews stated. And the WiFi was pretty intermittent. Several customers from the plaza used the parking lot next to the building, which made me question the security because cars were coming and going with no one watching. But the plaza is fairly "upmarket" so it's probably safe enough. The park itself is very pretty, but I hope that nice owner is still around somewhere for future campers!

Report Check-In

Very nice grassey, shady place with full hookups. Entrance in in center of strip mall. Management is very nice.

Report Check-In

Hidden GEM in Tepic. Everything is as described above. Paid 200 pesos per night for full hookups on my 25 feet rig. Ideal spot where to crash for a few nights.

Report Check-In

What a fantastic place. We paid $150pesos for a truck camper and no hook-ups (2 adults, 2 children). Plenty of space for the kids (and a friendly buddy Mateo to play with). The kids ate sugar cane and mangoes from the trees and swung in the hammocks. Spots are nicely shaded. Lovely family.

Report Check-In

Great place for large rigs (13ft clearance)! Don't follow GPS; enter at centre of the commercial strip...behind is peace and quiet!

Report Check-In

Emir, the owner, is really nice and helpful (he speaks hardly any English though). Fast and reliable WIFI on site (we downloaded more than 3 GB of data). Even though it's just off a busy main road it's surprisingly quiet at night. Paid only MEX$ 95 for two people in a truck camper without any bargaining and the use of the washing machine was free (there was no hot water in the showers though).

Report Check-In

Très calme propre parfait pour faire étape

Report Check-In

Great place, shower is clean, location very central and the manager very helpful. Take the bus Centro on the other side of the street in front of the Oxxo to go downtown. To go back it's quite the same bus with Centro writing and Xalisco. Ask the manager (owner nephew) to indicate you the mountain very near (I think it's cerro the San Juan on Mex 15) that you can hike. About 45 minutes to go up, it's a rewarding hike but the view worth it! During our stay we noticed they are building a very long bike trail along Mex15 with a lot of small bridges. Nice addition to Mexico, bikes trails are not a big thing here!!!

Report Check-In

Friendly Owner. Nice and shady sites behind the stores. Showers and toilets are ok. We payed 255 Pesos (Price for a van). It seams to be the only possibility to camp in town.

Report Check-In

Lovely place! Very hard to find yes, but follow the instructions and you will get there. Our GPS took us down a back street and we got in a real pickle - there was no street at the end. So ignore if yours does the same. Go to the main boulevard only. Nice flat spots, beautiful trees making it cool and really nice staff. Loved this place.

Report Check-In

After the description of the way its easy to find. We felt very safe. Nice shady and grassy spots with full hook up. Clean bathrooms with hot shower, everything is very clean. 375pesos for our 25feet Motorhome for two adults and two kids, very pet friendly. Fast wifi, uncomplicated. easy walkable to town, good spot on our way.

Report Check-In

New management. New prices. They asked for 255 pesos for a campervan. They literally raised the prices by 100-150%. Very nice place though! We never stayed there. Entrance from the main avenue through the driveway.

Report Check-In

This place is great - essentially a well kept large yard - its simple but clean bathrooms, hot shower water, pretty solid wifi, super cool with our dog and didn't mind us letting her run around off leash when not too many people were around. I cant say enough good things about the owners - Mario and his family are SOO nice - they even let us use their personal washing machine to do two loads and offered to help us out with a lock we were installing on our rig. The location is convenient to town and you can flag down a super cheap cab right out front where there is also an oxxo and two cafes. It is a little strange that a truckful of policia come eat lunch and nap here every day for about three hours but they never bothered us and only waved hello and goodbye.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place with lots of spaces for small or big rvs. Paid 150 pesos for a night. Great wifi, hot showers and very friendly staff. Some nice bars/restaurants nearby. Definitely worth staying there!!

Report Check-In

150 pesos per night. Very nice, clean, secure. The owners brought some fruits from their garden for us. We were the only visitors that night.

Report Check-In

Nice little RV park, very friendly owner, entrance is a little bit tricky to find. M$150

Report Check-In

Good, quiet safe spot. Friendly owners, nice bathrooms, great wifi. Directions that the other review gave are very helpful. Saw some other notes about the cops that show up, it seems like this is where they come for their lunch break. Never bothered us. Paid 200 pesos a night.

Report Check-In

An awesome RV Park in the city. Great bathrooms with hot showers and awesome Internet. (5mbs from the office) We are the only ones here and paid 200 pesos. Lots of grass with level spots and they also have friendly puppies. I found it easy to find after reading the other comments on where to turn into.

Report Check-In

Friendly hosts, very clean, fast WiFi and nice shady areas to park. We found it easily enough with previous directions. We paid $150m for 2 people.

Report Check-In

The directions already posted are spot on...drive into the horseshoe driveway at the oxxo. Friendly, clean, strong wi-fi. We paid $150 pesos.

Report Check-In

Clean, friendly, and a beautiful campsite. Luckily we had the campground to ourselves. Its located in the city, but makes you feel like your in the jungle. Definitely the place to be. Campsite is through the arch of a shopping center, so its a little hard to find. The price was $150 pesos.

Report Check-In

Difficult to find but followed directions of previous visitor and got here. Entrance arch is tight for high or long vehicles. Once inside the site is very pleasant with washroom and all necessary hook ups. Cost 200peso for 1 night. Good wifi available.

Report Check-In

This campground has a really nice, park like setting. There is a wall surrounding and it is gated, it feels very safe and secure. The family that runs the place is super friendly, and the hot shower and bathrooms are some of the nicest we've had in Mexico so far. We also had the federal police show up and hang out while we made dinner but they we're just resting, and didn't approach us at all. We were the only campers here during our stay.

Report Check-In

This RV Trailer Park was difficult to find off the main Boulevard Tepic-Xalisco, but it turned out that is because the entrance is in a commercial Plaza (InterPlaza) beside a OXXO (and across the street from Pemex 7989). The park itself has a clearance of 13 feet to get into, but once inside there are about 12 nice grass spots. Each spot has a leveling pad and a cement pad for tables/chairs/cooking etc. There is a small washroom with running water, flush toilets (with toilet seats) and a shower stall. Electricity, Water and Dumping is also located at each site. There is also a small hotel on the property, but it looks a little run-down. Large trees at each site offer splendid cover for all that can fit through the entrance. It was a little sketchy that shortly after we arrived, a truck full of loud Federales showed up, faces covered, big guns and all. We may find out however that they are just here to use the facilities and showers as they were at another location in Villahermosa. We figured that the RV park "may not" risk getting a bad review if we get hassled, but you never do know... after all - these guys are supposed to protect one and all.... Right?
