No checkpoint here, and no military checkpoints between here and Pointe Noire. A few speed bumps here and there, a number of organised road toll stations and the best road we’ve seen since Sierra Leone!

there is no military check points anymore as the confikct in the pool region was settled between government and insurgents last year.
according to truckers it's all safe day and night now, no police checkpoints anymore.
road is absolutely excellent and hilly landscapes very nice too.

We didn’t had any military posts on this road today. We drove from Ouesso towards Point Noir. We had only one policeman asking for money for registration. We told him that it js forbidden for us to pay policeman, he gave up quit easy.

good road. lot of checkpoints and enoying Police try to rip you off. do not give them money! ! they always let you pass for free after 20 minutes of wyning. i gave some candy and it was ok. sometimes got irritated. but did not pay anywhere. ask for receipt. they can never give you. because its elegale what they do.

Military checkpoints that we couldn't just ignore and keep riding. They seemed genuinely concerned about security. One checkpoint searched our bags, albeit very rudimentarily looking for weapons. Generally friendly and non threatening. On checkpoint squeezed us for 2000cfa but we laughed at him and left. Just make sure you have all your documents in your hand before you dismiss the bribe.

very good road. But plenty military checkpoints. each trys to get 1000cfa per car.
