**Update June 2017: No roadblock in place**
Road block for traffic direction sucre -> samaipata/st cruz from 07.00-11.30 and 13.00-17.30. We had the option of driving through at 15.00 though. Not sure for how long this will be in place.

This place is permanently closed.
No roadblock anymore. Still a dusty, bumpy long ride for the 100km-long road from outside of Aquile to Palizada where you will average around 20-30km/h. However, you no longer have to wait for roadblock.
The road is blocked few kilometers further east than indicate on the 5/05/17. We've changed the gps coordinates.
You can drive from 11.30 am to 1 pm as indicated. The road is blocked only for 1 kilometer.
