Good spot by the lake. Electricity and water available. 15$ without hookups or 25$ with hookups. Free dumping station and fresh water. If you try to park overnight near the dam, you might end up receiving a visit from a park ranger requesting the camping fee. You can take your chance or simply park directly at the campsite and enjoy a warm shower.

Beautiful campground with 25 spots, all with power and fresh water. Great views of the lake and surrounding snowy mountains. Very nice, heated bathrooms. Had good phone coverage with Tello.
Report Check-InWell maintained campground. About half have lake views. $30 per night for out of state plates. Most sites have electric hookups. They’re in the process of switching to an online reservation system soon it seems, but I pulled in on a Friday night around 5:30p on Veterans Day weekend and there were lots of spots available (only about 6 taken of 25).
Report Check-InGreat spot with water on one side of you and a view of snow capped (October) mountians a on the other side. Showers were free as a camper and warm.
Report Check-InPrice has updated to $25 per night. Has covered areas with picnic table, and fire ring. Hot showers and nice groomed flat areas for tents as well as RVs. Can pay with cash or card at self pay station.
Report Check-InGreat spot by the lake. We tent camped and there is a large square sandbox at each site for pitching a tent (the ground is rocky) and there is a little windbreak wall. We had a site on the bluffs above the lake and it was lovely but the bugs were serious. Each spot has a picnic table and there are clean bathrooms and a shower. Pay at the kiosk to reserve your site , we did first come first serve and on a week day there were lots of open spots. Most folks here camp with large RV's and most sites have hookups. If you are out of state you have to pay an additional fee.
Report Check-InWe paid the $15 to stay in the dam overlook parking area. We were not bothered at all and I would recommend getting the tag so you don’t get a knock on the window in the middle of the night. They do patrol the lot several times at night. There were three different campers in the lot! We felt safe and slept well. We used the facilities in the campground in the morning. 🌻
Report Check-InNot open yet nice looking spot though. Looked good to go. Dont know why it was closed
Report Check-Inbeautiful. really nice camp sites for 15$ a night. some sites have electrical hookup. Good for rv. fishing at the reservoir.
Report Check-InIt is not free to stay near the dam. We were woked up at 6:30 am by a Park ranger asking for a 15.00 $ camping fee. You better just stay at the camping directly.
View is spectacular. The spot is quiet with access to a pit toilet, tables and fire rings.
Report Check-InFree camping if you drive all the way down the gravel road to the edge of the dam. Vault toilet and good cell service.
There is a day use fee for the boat launch and other camp sites but doesn't appear to be a pay station/fee at the dispersed camping area. Gravel loop and picnic tables.
No fires allowed.
