Great spot to stay before heading towards Yosemite National Park. Busy road during the day but at night it was quiet. One other van and car parked nearby as well. Beautiful sunrise along with roosters crowing in the background
Report Check-InIncredible view of the setting sun and soon after a sky full of stars! This is a large dirt area off the road. I was only there for a few hours to nap in the van but in that time nobody bothered me. I figured I could drive a few miles up to the Chukchansi Casino and park for free there if i needed to. A gas station is nearby with an amazing dollar store behind it that kind of doubles as a rural hardware store. I never would have guessed it would be stocked with so much equipment just looking at it from the outside. Tell the guy what you need and he probably has it. A grocery store is nearby too.

Report Check-InSandy lot. Open. Went down the dirt road to park at a lower level from the road. Wonderful sunset. Very quiet.
GPS first took me to the Country Club then the Residents Baseball field had to use iOverlander map to figure out how to get here.
The actual location is off Yosemite Springs Parkway, directly behind the Yosemite Lakes Community Church.
Huge Leveled area. Big enough for any kind of vehicle. If you don’t wanna sleep by the road, you can go downhill along the road on the left and find more spots. No shades, but quiet. Good option for a night before Yosemite.// Es un area muy grande y nivelada, para cualquier tipo de vehículo. Si no queres dormir al lado del camino, podes ir más abajo por el camino de la izq. No hay sombra, pero es muy tranquilo. Buena opción para dormir antes del Yosemite
