Just precise that I could enter the awsome garden with my 2,55 m high camper. I cannot imagine a better place. Everything is 10/10 and Cecile is a 12/10 hostess. Le Gîte, a must.

Amazing place. Huge garden with nice pool where you can pitch your (roof)tent. They also run a B&B, with lovely rooms. Kevin and Cecile make you feel very welcome. We joined for dinner on Saturdaynight; good food and good company. Also great breakfast with home made breakfast. For us it was the perfect place to end our journey through Africa and get ready to fly home. Can absolute recommend it!

We stayed here 3 times. It’s the perfect place in Centurion. Kevin and Cecile are very friendly and helpful. You can park the car with rooftop tent on the grass. There is a kitchen and bathroom that you can use. Shops and restaurants are nearby.

Lovely place. Cecile and Kevin gave us a warm welcome. Not much to add to the Stories below except that our truck is 3,20m high and fits perfectly. So If the grass is not to wet a big rig fits as well.

A magical little oasis away from the madness of Centurion/Pretoria. Came for a night; stayed for a week! Camping is in the stunning gardens of a beautiful house. There’s borehole spring water on tap through the property. The hosts, Kevin and Cecile, are amazing and go to enormous lengths to make sure your stay is a happy one. Security is 100% with electric gates and two dogs (who are also lovely, as long as you’re not a burglar!). Cecile also grows organic produce, so you can fill up the fridge while you’re there. Kevin has a deep knowledge of overlanding and 4x4 vehicles (although he did make the mistake of choosing a land cruiser over a Land Rover). My landy is 2.4m high and no issues. Both Kevin and Cecile are world travellers with some great stories. This is a TOP choice of you want to camp (or stay: there’s also a beautiful Air BnB flat on the property) in a happy place in the middle of Pretoria or Centurion. Thanks SO much Kevin and Cecile. I shall return!!!

LE GITE
The friendly owners, Kevin and Cecile have a lovely, spacious, established Airbnb and are hoping to attract more Overlanders by developing the plot.
Space for bigger rigs is limited by the 2.3 height access at present.
Kevin has a very well equipped workshop, heaps of technical knowledge and can point you in the right direction of local specialist repairs/ mechanics, if you need a spot of help with your vehicle.
We stayed for nearly two weeks and were made to feel very welcome. We had use of good facilities and WiFi and there is a spacious lapa if you feel like stretching out with some yoga. If you ask Cecile, she may even come and join you.
This is not a campsite but it is in a useful residential area for access to all things.
. “ Camping” would be in a quiet spot at the bottom of their lovely garden, with tropical flowerbeds, veggies and a pool. Realistically there is only space for two or three vehicles at a time, at the moment.
Additionally, the location is convenient for the airport and transfers can be arranged to/ from.
