Beautiful, peaceful, 5 families of geese/goslings swimming and walking around our campsite. Campsite 13 has to be one of the best spots we've been. 31ft class c and TowDolly fit easily. cell signal varied from 2 to 5 bars. common water hand pump. pit toilets. $10/night on rec.gov.
Report Check-InBeautiful lakeside campsite. Site had a picnic table and fire pit. Plenty of room and tree shade for vehicle and tent. Good cell service with Verizon and Tmobile. Boats were a bit loud but that can be expected.
PS - The name is too good to pass up.
This campground has no showers but there were out houses. Incredible views. I was the only one in the campground. The ranger came and checked on me after the 1st night. She was really nice. Some guys came through on horses and rode them into the lake. That was really cool. Nice quiet spot. Seems safe. No one bothered me.
