Nice quiet spot with views over the valley. Can be seen from the road but only 2 vehicle went past while we were there. There is a den of beautiful foxes nearby which we didn't realise until they came out to play in front of us. Not a bad spot, but there are plenty of others along this area. Watch out that some of the gravel-pit spots along this section have 'no entry' signs. Plenty of space for big-rigs, but a little bit of clearance needed. OK for most cars & overlanding vehicles. No facilities. Free.

While setting up my rtt the local foxes alerted me to a big brown bear that strolled about 50 feet from this location. He was curious and unafraid, beware! Needless to say, I moved.
Report Check-InVery nice spot. Meanwhile the trees are so high, that you can not be seen from the road anymore. The surrounding hills give a nice view over the surrounding landscapes.
You don’t need 4wd to get there, but a fair amount of clearance is necessary.
As described. Old unused gravel pit. The surrounding hills are great for little evening walks and provide nice views. Lots of edible mushrooms...
