Something not right?

Description

Nice and quiet overnight place on the grassy shady parkinglot. As we stayed here midweeks, they cleaned the pools and the restaurant was closed. So it was extremely quiet ;). Seems to be busy on weekends.
We agreed to pay 200L/night/2 people.

We paid 200 L for two adults and a three year old. Great variety of pools and a playground too. Plenty of space to camp, just watch out for biting ants and a bit of broken glass. There was no running water, bucket toilets only. They are in the middle of adding new pools and developing it even more. Really lovely family and glad we stopped by after crossing the border. A cheap and quiet night.

We enjoyed camping here one night. The water park is well-maintained and I found the water fairly clean (though cold). L200 for two adults, child free. We also bought tacos hondureños for L50/order. Swings and other little playground things for little ones. Bucket flush toilets. No showers and no water in sinks. Couldn’t find a water spigot. The biggest problem here were ants, which were essentially everywhere in the camping field. We all got bit some, despite our efforts to watch where we were going. I think they can be tolerated for a night. Overall, we would stay again if we needed a place in this area.

New employees were hesitant to let us stay and turns out that the owner is new too.

Neighbour of balneario was very cute in explaining how many overlanders had come here. A phone call with the owner and the employees/family living on the property warmed up to us.

Let us park right next to the roofed hang out area next to the pool.

Was great to go swimming with the 6 year old daughter Candy and use the water slide.

Running water just 1-2 times a week. Pool water comes from the river.

Had the place to ourselves and the family/employees. Pool water was treated with chlorine but likely not cleaned until before the weekend.

Hosts and people in town are not used to forgeiners.

Really nice pools and quiet spot.
At first the employees didn't want us to overnight there, but when the owner came she was more than happy to let us stay in the shady parking lot (with access to the bathrooms).
We paid 100L per person for the entrance to the pools and the night.
The road leading there from CA-4 is a 2.5 kms dirt track, sometimes steep with gravel. We did it without problem with our 2WD Chevy van, but it may be a little bit complicated for big rigs.
