Bolivia
Very tranquil camping hostel which has 3 terraces with beautiful view from the edge of the village down into the valley. Motos can pass from the entrance down next to the tents but camper vans wouldn’t fit. 40 bob / night for a tent per person They also offer rooms (70 bob / person including breakfast) Showers are warm to hot. The place used to be called Gecko camping. Super friendly family ran business with personal connection to local guides if you search any.

Report Check-InWe paid 40bob each for two people and a tent.
The camping is only suitable for tents (no vans or rooftop tents) so basically only for motorbikes, bicycles or small cars. Also the street to get here is quite steep and there's not much space for manoeuvres.
The view is really beautiful, the owner nice and the place was clean. There is a small outdoor kitchen you can use with tables. There's a covered area that might be used in case of rain.
Very warm showers
This is NOT a car camping, maybe if you have a tiny tiny car with high clearance. But for the rest of us no. Entrance is very low and it is almost impossible to turn into the “camping spot”. Save you the trouble. Camping Franklin is a good alternative
Report Check-InWe spent 2 nights here waiting for weather to clear and it was very nice! Super friendly and knowledgeable owner, quiet environment, great view and most important, secure parking for our motorcycles. The road down is a touch sketchy but doable with any ADV bike or 4x4 rig. 2x4 would be ok if the road is dry… the river stone road gets slippery in the rain.
Report Check-InThe spot to stay in Coroico. Incredible views and nice clean facilities. Rolando is an excellent spot who speaks really good English. He is from La Paz and has a professional background in tourism. Prices have change 50Bs for a bed and 30Bs for camping. Flat driveway with spot for 2 small rigs.
Since no one else was here I took a room and spend 3 nights hanging out and enjoying the town. Highly recommended!
