Description
Nice place well kept garden and swimming pools. Gated and guarded. Charged $15/usd per night but I was in no mood to haggle... was getting dark and not many better options around. Power available with extension cord. Water and washrooms. Pleasant staff. Great internet (no other guests at the moment)

Nice place, but less then basic. Toillets without light, one out of order, the other runs, but no light as well. Shower, yes, but not clean at all!

Run down, no upkeep, pools empty, no shower.
10usd pn for 1 van and two people after negotiating.
Happy we ended up at Centro Recreativo Villa Verde, some kms north from Esteli.

3 us dollar per person for use of swimming pool for the day.
We were going to stay here and agreed $15 even though it seemed expensive - we were hot and made it clear we wanted to have a swim. We had a walk around, only one pool operational and not the cleanest. Told no showers (although we did find one), but when we came to pay they then said if we used the pool we had to pay $3pp extra. $21 was way too too much given it was pretty run down so we carried on and stayed by the river in the Canyon de Somoto. A bit of a drive but that was our intended destination anyway and the camping there is beautiful and only $10 with shower, loo, river to cool off in and electricity.
