Plage très grande. Beaucoup de vent ce jour là, prudence avec la mer.
Nous nous sommes garés à droite le long des palapas, passage de pick up et de buggy mais relativement calme sinon.
Pas d’enlisement avec notre VR :)

Report Check-In

It is as described. Stayed three nights. Good!

Report Check-In

lots of space for all sizes of units. multiple trash cans. didn't see any port-a-potties or showers as some users mentioned.
there is a bigger size construction project going on with workers present from 7-3. no safety concerns or trouble sleeping !
town has a full list of resources available such as gas, grocery, water, etc.

stayed for three nights

Report Check-In

Beautiful, free, quiet perfect little overnight spot. Port-a-potties on site.

Report Check-In

Wow, what a great discovery. I don't understand why this magnificent place is deserted. Quiet and peaceful, used by Mexicans during the day and evening. This place becomes quiet in the late evening. Completely secure and as a bonus there are dry toilets and trash cans. We're going to stay for a few days and visit the surrounding area. Can accommodate any size rig.

Report Check-In

place sympa nous avons passé deux nuits : 1er a gauche sur le grand parking, il y a beaucoup de passage et de squat avec de la musique.
2eme a droite en parallèle des palapas, vraiment plus tranquille.
toilette propre et plage propre.

While this beach is nice, I would only stay here for a night as a last resort. It's very popular with locals playing loud music until late, and lots of cars cruise by. We even had a police truck roll by and shine lights on everyone. First thing in the morning they do beach clean up (which is great) except 3 men and a truck pulled up right behind us to have a conversation. It felt like they followed me back from the bathroom. This is the only time I've felt unsafe in Baja. Maybe we caught it on an off day, I don't know, but I won't be back unless I have no other options

Report Check-In

Whoops, got the 22' RV stuck in the sand but there are plenty of places you won't get stuck. Lovely clear sky full of stars, clean beach, cool breeze at night. Locals played music from their cars until around 2am on Friday night but I didn't mind. When it's quiet, it's dead quiet. No shade for vehicles but there are walk-up palapas. No one bothered me and my dogs except one young dog that wouldn't take the hint that my old dog didn't want to play. Very nice, free spot.

Report Check-In

We stayed here a few nights in our sprinter and it was a great spot. No local music late into the night, which can happen anywhere and is hit or miss. We would stay again! Port-a potties available but they were too full to use, gross. May have just been for Easter weekend. Garbage cans were plentiful.

Report Check-In

Locals were up until 2am with loud music. Terrible sleep at an otherwise decent location.

Report Check-In

Great spot to spend sometime, plenty of space for any size rig, garbage, dry toilet, outside shower and water valve to fill your rig, very low pressure so be patient it can take up to an hour to fill, same for the shower very little pressure.
2 nice grocery store in town that has everything you need.

Report Check-In

Amazing beach. Well kept. Portapotties
..everything as described.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, public beach. Immaculate. Very windy. One water spigot with no pressure. Clean porta johns and trash receptacles. We decided not to stay the night due to weekend partying and loud music reviews. Really gorgeous spot. But we did return on Monday and it was quiet and safe. The police drove by, smiled, and waved. Be nice, wave back.

Report Check-In

Great boondocking spot! We ended up staying 3 nights Fri-Sun and found it very calm and relatively quiet. Huge parking lot, great for big rigs. Porta Potties were cleaned every morning we were there.

Report Check-In

As described before, very well kept beach. There are porta-potties, recycling and compost, cold showers (that i couldn’t get to turn on), foot spigot works, and a row of palapas on very soft sand. There is construction near by which goes from about 7-7. However beautiful it may be, the night is where all of the locals seem to get obliterated. Cars parked within 10 feet from us and blasted their favorite tunes til midnight or so. Seems like a fun place to party, but not sleep.

Report Check-In

Very nice and clean beach. Porta potties toilets. Showers didn’t work. Quiet during the night but only weekdays.

Report Check-In

Showers , toilets and you can bonfire as long as it’s not in the limits of the boundary set up with rocks. Also have palapas.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, quiet, super clean and nice beach.

Report Check-In

Nice beach cleaned every morning there are some outhouse toilets
The local’s party here till 11:00 but besides that sleep well felt safe with nice local people

Report Check-In

The beach is indeed beautiful and very well kept. We had read reviews of locals partying but assumed it would be quiet on a weekday, we were very wrong. Multiple cars with loud music until 11:30 PM. Had a vehicle rip through close to our van at 1:30 AM. Was not a pleasant or peaceful night. There are cold beach showers and porta potties, also trash, recycling and composting.

Report Check-In

Great place for free camping. There are portable bathrooms and cold free showers!!! Soft sand be careful. Beautiful!

Report Check-In

A bit hard to find, sandy muddy roads after the rain but doable in my 2wd van. Beautiful open sandy beach. I'm the only gringo here which is a change! Dogs here but friendly enough with mine. Sunday afternoon is getting a bit busier. Not sure if I'm comfortable staying here alone.

Report Check-In

Big beautiful beach!! Full cell service and right outside of town!! It was really windy while we were here so we couldn’t really enjoy a beach day but I assume in calmer weather this place would be super relaxing! There’s a market and water in town if you need it as well as great restaurants and an amazing bakery right before you turn it! Very safe with lots of locals having a good time!

Report Check-In

As described, nice clean beach, large and plenty of place to park. Busy with locals so not necessarily quiet but the vibe is good. There are trash bins and a toilet that we didn't use.

Report Check-In

Great clean open beach. We stayed here one Saturday night and felt very safe, even though there were many locals around us having a good time and playing loud music. Everyone quieted down around 11:30pm and the small waves were tranquil and calming.

We stayed through the next morning and enjoyed some beach time. Porta potties were cleaned around 8am. Very warm in the morning with no wind (perfect for paddle boarding). Winds started to pick up around 11am. Great Verizon cell service.

Report Check-In

The police says the beach closes at 6:00 pm

Report Check-In

This is a beautiful place, but the police says it closes at 6:00 pm

Report Check-In

very well kept beach, kids playing futbol on the beach. locals came after work to drink and listen to music as usual though they generally kept distance. full LTE cell service on Google Fi.

Report Check-In

A bit windy, white sandy beach with clear water.

Report Check-In

Went to the south end of the beach (turn right when facing the "public beach") (sand drive, 4x4 or/and low pressure recommanded).
After the fence, less than 1km, we camp near the pound, there is a papala, nice scenery. But please pick up your trash AND toilet paper after your pee...
quiet spot.

Report Check-In

Great free wide open local beach. Wonderful for dogs. Parked to the left on a sand covered cement surface right out in the middle. Just a few other people sunning or fishing. No one parked near me, played music or bothered me. A bit windy. Very clean!

Report Check-In

2WD friendly
Pit Toilets (clean)
FREE
Spotty cell service

Mega clean beach where the locals really show initiative in picking up their trash.

We felt very safe and stayed 2 nights.
There’s not much to the town you’re next to and it’s more desolate than we had thought it would be, but a great place to stay nonetheless!

•pick up your trash•
•the flies are nonexistent if you don’t eat outside•

Report Check-In

Blue Flag certified beach. recycle bins, camping to the left, great for boogie boarding but not snorkelling.

Report Check-In

Camping at the nice and very clean public beach of La Ribera. Pit toilets and trash cans are available. It was extremely windy, with open windows the sand was blown in the car. Without wind it would be a great beach. Access Road is 2 WD, at the beach you have to be careful where you go.

Report Check-In

Great free camping area on a clean beach. I second everyone else here who says that the locals apparently really care about the beach and keeping it clean. Sign says no dogs, but that’s not enforced at all (talked to the manager Ricardo- he’s cool with dogs). No beach fires, though, and they’re pretty strict on that.

Deserted during the week, people coming in and out on weekends. Regardless, there is a ton of open, level beach space. Full cell LTE signal but no power source nearby.

Best part of this beach, for me, is that Mexicans frequent the beach and it’s not a gringo haven. You will inevitably run into locals having a celebration, coming out for a beach day, fishing, etc. After coming from a lot of the beaches around here, that’s pretty refreshing. So yeah, there’s music and people coming in and out, but there’s a positive vibe from everyone. We tent camped and it was great- park in the lot and walk about 30 meters to the palapa to set up. For those in RVs/vans, you can arrive at the beach and go out to the left to actually park on the beach.

Report Check-In

A nice large beach with clean porta-potties, trash and recycling plus little palapas. Totally free. We camped here 2 nights and cooked dinner outside our Sprinter with no problems. Police rolled through but didn’t stop. People came each morning to rake & clean the beach. Lots of families during the day, some locals at night enjoying the view.

Report Check-In

Sweet spot, very open space with wind at times. The water is clear and turquoise in color. Parking for 2wd vehicles is about 100 feet from the water 4x4 obviously closer. Lots of local family action but ample room to enjoy some quietness.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night. Parked on the far left side of the beach. One other group was camped down the beach. Around 7 pm a local parked 10 feet from us and started blasting music and drinking beer. They left and returned around 10 PM and stayed for another hour parked 10 feet from us again even though there was a half mile of empty beach. Also a group of fishermen came by around 5 am. None of this caused any issues for us but just seemed odd because there was plenty of open beach. Still think its a great spot for a couple nights.

Report Check-In

Very nice and clean public beach. We arrived mid afternoon and it was very windy and it stayed like this throughout the night. Only one other RV and several cars, some with loud music. No issues staying here.

This morning there were several pickups and cars and about 20 workers raking and cleaning the beach. This seems to be a protected beach for turtles laying their eggs at a certain time of the year.

Report Check-In

huge sandy beach with portaloos & recycling trash cans. Employees clean & rake beach. Water is shallow a long way out. Hard sand.

Report Check-In

Lovely beach. Clean with bins and toilets. Locals rocked up in the evening & played music pretty loud, as they do at many of the town-beaches in the Baja.

Report Check-In

Good beach with very clean sand, looks like locals care. When the wind died in the evening it was very hot. Nobody bothered us. One of few beaches where locals didn't parade all night.

Report Check-In

Great open large beach with lots of palapas. We were here on a Friday night and there were a few groups of locals having fires and listening to music, but the beach is so large it was easy to spread out and still have your own space. Definitely recommend, especially if you're trying to get out of the busy town of Los Barriles just to the north. Much more tranquil here.

Report Check-In

The best and amazing public beach in la Rivera old town.
