Description

Cliff side parking off of a dirt road. We traveled along the coast but might recommend turning in at Villa Jesus Maria from the highway and taking the 4x4 road towards the ocean. Breathtaking views and not another person in sight.

Latest Check-Ins

As already noted the views are absolutely stunning. Made it fine in truck camper but we have 4WD which is a must. Did not journey down towards the beach since the view from up top was great! One truck and dirt bike came by but otherwise super
quite. Here on a Monday night.

Report Check-In

On the cliff above Sea Lion Cove. The road down here is high clearance 4x4. The road to Sea Lion Cove requires 4x4 with the ability to gun it uphill. We did not try it with our truck camper. Stunning views but not remote as there were many visits by local families enjoying the beach, in trucks, foot and quads on a Monday. Saw whales, dolphins and sea lions.

4x4 A MUST to get in & out of this place. Very nice spot. Beautiful views. Quiet, desolate, & breezy. Very close to the Cove & sea lions.

this is a truly amazing spot. if you'd rather not drive down into the sandier spots down by the arch, this provides a great view of the arch and the ocean higher up. I have 4x4 and the road is semi firm sand/rock to this point. like I said, gets sandier farther down. definitely worth checking out. a little windy. woke up to dolphins and the sea lions cried out all night. very cool

It is a nice place with great views. There are some places to sleep in this area. We had a beautiful view to the Arche.
