Mexico
Not a big truck parking, but a green (brown now) grassy garden behind the station with some treeshade. Good for mid-sized vehicles and bikers with tents. Bigger overland trucks park on the bitumen parking. No restaurant, no shop, but a pretty descend spot to park/camp, quiet and free. Except 3 Pesos for the toilets.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Asked the petrol station attendants if we could camp in the grassy space in our van (where other reviewers have before), but were told no! They said we could park on the pavement right next to the road, but it wasn’t terribly level and also incredibly noisy, so we’re off to check out some of the lakeside spots about 15min away in Querétaro.

Report Check-InNous avons passé une nuit à cet endroit où nous n’avons rien payé. super pratique, propre et calme (malgré la promiscuité avec la route). La station ferme à 11h et éteignent leur musique à ce moment là !
Report Check-InAs described, a calm and nice place for the night. And it is Mobil, not Pemax.
Report Check-InWe were not the only one sleeping there. Police patrolled in the night. We are not sure if it was 24h service but some cars came at night honking horns, probably wanted to wake up the attendant without success. Bathrooms were quite filthy, no running water, no bucket to flash toilet. Otherwise it was calm night.
Report Check-InVery nice camping area. But it is Mobil now, not Pemex and toilet is free as the machine is not working. 2-4 bar 4G from Telcel
