Very nice bathrooms with hot water. They are currently upgrading the primitive area. It is quite old. They are adding potable water to every primitive site.

Good camping on the lake. The primitive area is under construction to do upgrades and add water. Campground is old so they are refurbishing it. Bathroom is very nice with hot water.

Stayed one night on a weekend. Super busy during the summer. Super friendly staff and neighbors at camp sites. It’s a army engineer corps camp ground but when I ask if they had a military discount they ask to see my “papers”. I laughed and just paid full price. 18 dollars for spot on the water with power and water, even though I didn’t need it. Would stay again.

Place is decently nice but the gates close at 10pm so if you arrive after, you will not be able to get into the campground. Gates open again at 6am. Alternatively there is a free option that we were directed to after not being able to enter the campgrounds - the boat dock just down the road further, featuring a pit toilet and some pretty nice lake views. You should be able to follow signs to get there/ you’ll know you are there when the road opens up to a lake.

Great little gem of a Campground on reservoir. $20 for water and electric $12 for tent site.

What a great tucked away gem! Stayed here in my Promaster Van and got a site right on the lake! Sites #29-38 have some of the best views. Even though I didn’t use the hookups (water and electric), it was worth $20 for the sunset and sunrise views! The folks who manage the place were very nice and the place is dog friendly! Highly recommend! :)
