Stanley Motel Annex in Singida | Hotel

Didn't let us camp. Also didn't speak English. Rooms are ok and decent size, we paid 50,000TZS for a double. Restaurant is grim, dirty and infested. So we walked to the K.B.Hotel next door for dinner and wished we had stayed there. Their rooms for 50,000 are smaller but nicer and more modern.

Nice clean room. Really comfortable bed with mosquito net. Rooms cost between Tsh 25,000 - 60,000 including breakfast. No hot water in our room. Ensure hot water is working before deciding on a room. Internet only reaches some rooms. Restaurant and breakfast time was quite unhygienic, so we just had our own.

A very nice place to stay. Clean & quiet. Paid TZS25k inclusive a buffet bfast (spagetti, bread, chapati, tea & coffee).

I actually checked into the Stanley Motel itself. Only realised this when I passed the Annex on my way out of Singida - couldn’t understand why people were referring to camping possibilities. The Annex looks like a much nicer place. The Motel is on the Tz side of town while the Annex is on the Rw side.

The motel was clean, friendly, safe, had parking for small vehicles, but was a bit noisy - it was Friday night at month end though.
You won’t go wrong here but the Annex may be a better choice.

Nice and secure place! You can camp and cook. However the staff doesn’t speak much english, and to have access to water you need to get a room which is 25 000 TSH.

hotel ok, nothing special but very clean. We took a double room for 30.000 breakfast included but there were also rooms at 25 and 40 but no significant difference. Real hot showers and speedy internet (but cuts off sometimes of course).

We were not allowed to camp here. We took a room for 30.000. The room was big and clean with fan and mosquitonet and had a warm shower. We ordered also dinner there. The food was OK but it took over 2 hours till it was served and then they wanted almost 10.000 more for a starter (4.500 in the menu and 13.000 on the bill). After long discussion we paid the price on the menu. So if you eat there check your bill!

Lots of space for parking. They would not allow us to camp. We got a room (2people) for 30,000Tsh, includes breakfast. Warm water shower, towels provided, sit down toilet, fan and mosquito net. It was fine, nothing special. Walls a bit thin between rooms and could hear television and talking. Mildew on some of the ceilings, which my husband has an allergy to, but nothing an allergy pill couldn’t manage.

Ordered dinner from the restaurant. Took over 2 hours to get food and not all prices matched the menu. There was a bit of a discussion with the management regarding over charging food. We paid the price on the menu.

It's a motel but they let you to camp. Friendly staff, clean. You can stay on the grass or in the car park. We were two car and four people. We payed scelling 25.000 for a clean room to use toilette. This is a second time we stop here. Very good place to stop
