Something not right?

Description

Great spot by the road on the shore of Fraser Creek, your best option when Wapta Falls camping spots are full. A bit dusty when vehicles pass by but otherwise quiet. Take the trail to the fall, about 40 minutes, starting at the creek.

Gorgeous spot. Lots of cool rocks to look at in the creek. I’d reckon big enough for up to three rigs. Clean pit toilet. ATT varied service between 1 bar 3G and 1-2 bar LTE.

Nice spot right on the creek with trail to Wapta Falls right across the road

Wow, such a beautiful spot right next to a fast flowing river. Stunning views of the mountains in Yoho National Park and great level parking spots. You can fit about 2-3 rigs here. Don't skip the hike to Wapta Falls!

Wapta falls was full so we stayed here and it was great - right next to the creek, fell asleep to the sound of water. Was only one other camper. Also had pit toilets but we didn’t need them. The road in is quite bumpy and muddy at parts. Saw a bear on the way in by the road

A good second option when the wapta falls sites are full. Still a very nice site. Two tables, some fire pits, a pit toilet, and right by a beautiful creek. Right by the bridge/Road so occasional vehicle noise but quite infrequent and barely noticeable with the creek.
Hike to view Wapta Falls has a trail just across the bridge road. Follow the creek, some plywood signs leading through the forest. Took about an hour there and back again.

Stayed here as the falls campsites were all full. Nice place and had it all to ourselves. Watch out for the mosquitos

Beautiful spot by a river and you can hike to the falls from a trail across the bridge! There are trucks that go by kind of early in the morning but not a huge problem. And there is one pit toilet!

This spot was great. Far up a well maintained gravel road, it boasted two nice picnic tables, two great fire rings, and a very clean pit toilet (bring your own TP). The stream is one of the most beautiful I have seen, and the sound of it lulled us to sleep. We had the place to ourselves, but there is room for 3-4 vehicles. Cell reception. Great spot just outside of the national park.

As mentioned before, if the Wapta falls site is full, this is a great alternative. Views aren't the same though. Space for up to 5-6 rigs, depending on how people park. A couple fire pits and picnic tables, no trash or anything else. Don't come too late because it gets full easily. Calm, quiet and cold!

Works well for a night if the Wapta falls overlook us full.
