Description

This location has everything and is about 10km south of San Blas (sand flies at dusk). By everything that includes: tent camping, RV spots (small rigs), cabanas, hotel, and other rooms. There are two pool areas and a small restaurant. It is on the ocean but the beach looked a bit rocky out front. It is a very beautiful spot and there are bathrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers.
Electricity: 110v at most camp sites
Internet: good wifi near office and restaurant

Price determined by vehicle type/camping type — see photos.

We wanted to avoid actually staying in San Blas because of the cautionary tales we’d been hearing about the sand fleas so we settled for Miramar which was just down the road – PROS: Beautiful resort on above a rocky beach, pool, cement pads to park on (or you can park in a grassy field), electric and water hookups, restaurant on site, free wifi, reportedly have hot showers but we didn’t try them out – CONS: super buggy but not with sand flies

bonito lugar Luz 220 internet restaurantes casi pie de carretera drenaje agua albercas muy recomendable

Great spots. Sandflies a bit annoying at dusk but the surrounds are lovely. We are the only campers here. Cell signal not too bad. Wifi okay for streaming

Great well kept tropical garden with 8 hookup Sites and many more dry camping places on a grassy area shaded by big trees and palms. Nice view with great sunsets, Many brown pelicans and fregatbirds at the beach. Many amenties like free Wifi, swimming pools, full hockup, restaurant, shaded patios.

Excelente lugar, solo falto playa, buen lugar para acampar y RV

very nice tropical campground, on a rocky beach
beautiful Little swimming pools - kids réally enjoyed, and another bigger pool.
hot showers
restaurant OK, many local restaurants more
inspiring 5 min walk on thé beach

price from 250 to 400 pesos depending on véhicule size

Decent place on the coast for a night or two. Not the least expensive though. Food and margaritas in the restaurant were good. Showers git hot after a bit of a wait. Gates locked all day/night so we'll secured if that's a need of yours.

Another big old RV Park past it’s glory days. It’s got big beautiful mature trees and gorgeous grounds, but the facilities are worn (but very clean) and WiFi only works by the office. They determine price by the type of vehicle (I added a photo of the price sheet). We paid 324 pesos for our van (included power and we could run our AC). Good choice if you don’t want to be in San Blas and while there were mosquitos, there were no sand flies. Bonus was the sea turtles we could see in the water!

Great spot but a bit expensive. Was charged 320p with no hook ups. Bugs are quite bad and when we were there the water in the main building (attached to the restaurant) stopped working. Had cold showers by the large pool. Water was fixed in the morning. We also ran out of propane when we were here and they let us use the stove at the restaurant

As other's have said, lovely spot on a bluff above the ocean, watch the oyster divers in the morning and the seaturtles in the afternoons. Run by a nice extended family. The little restaurant makes everything fresh and is very reasonably priced, there are also other larger restaurants a very short drive down the road.

Beautiful safe and secure spot as described. Grassy spot overlooks ocean, lots of palms, very lovely tropical setting.

This is a great place! We were the only ones camping for the first night then a few tent campers showed up. There is a nice pool with an amazing view of the ocean. Grounds are well kept and the wifi worked well. Bathrooms were fairly clean and there was actual hot showers with good water pressure! Also way less bugs then San Blas. Not sure why more people weren’t here. We recommend! We paid 325 per night and were able to plug-in.

Lovely grassy spot on a hill overlooking the ocean, as described by others. Well cared for. seemed to be a party nearby the night we stayed as there was music playing loudly til the wee hours although it did not bother us. Bathrooms clean, shower hot, wifi decent. Paid 300pesos for our truck camper, 2 of us, and 2 dogs. Would stay again.

Good campground, clean washrooms, hot showers, decent internet, paid 300 pesos in a pickup truck/camper, not bad considering the lack of good boondocking options in the area.

Most of the descriptions are still correct. The price is higher however. We paid 324 pesos for our VW van.
Wifi doing quite well. Didn’t try the restaurant.

Beautiful spot on the ocean, with restaurant, unheated pools, clean bathrooms. RV sites are basic and a bit rundown. 250 pesos a night.

Bridge being built. You can still access by going s to miramar go almost to town then turn n on a small road. Go thru 2 black gates ( looks private) down a rock road past lots of houses and casitas. Across a bridge and you’re there!

Stayed here 4 nights tent camping with my dog. As mentioned, this place has many things going for it. But...the beach is not one of the highlights. If you've been to many beaches here in Mexico you'll agree that this beach is not one of the prettier ones. It has rocks and limited areas to walk and beach sand is brownish. So don't expect a pretty beach to go along with the property. December high season campsite 125 pesos/night/person. Adequate wi-fi, electricity, nonpotable water and minimal bugs (only nighttime) so you'll still need repellent. Weather here not as muggy as beaches farther south.

beautiful campground. lots of trees, swimming pool, hot showers, wifi at the restaurant, at the sea. clean. 125pesos for a night

beautiful RV park , grassy camper spots with electricity and water. fast wifi was available at our site near office. we paid 250 pesos, but where so happy to find the place just when it got dark. most of the spots and parks between San Blas and here seemed to be abandoned. I assume due to damage from the September tropical storms.

Beautiful garden teeming with birds and butterflies. There are even two small rivers running through the premises. And every afternoon we saw sea turtles swimming just in front of the place. The beach is rocky and not perfect for swimming, so try the public beach just south of the property. Great value @ MEX $ 125 pppn. Stay a week and get one night free.

Stunning camp spot. Lots of coconut palms, mangoes and papaya trees around. We picked fresh mangos. The price depends on your vehicle size. They quoted us at 320 pesos and bargained for 270 for 2 people and our truck camper for 1 night. However, we paid 170 pesos at the reception desk with credit card (possibly an error by the worker). Wifi worked well. We ate good food at the restaurant overlooking the surf. It has good potential for a session with the right swell direction. A perfect day of relaxation and mango margaritas by the poolside!

Great spot! Beautiful view over the ocean. Sea sided pool. 200p per night. Food in restaurant is oke (if they don't mess up your order).

They charged us 300 pesos per night for two. We stayed for 2 nights. Nice spot. Lots of small little bugs come out to eat you as soon as the sun sets. Mosquito nets on our windows did do the trick to keep them out. Other then that the place is definitely worth of checking out if you are in the area. For inexpensive seafood walk to the village from the beach. 10 minutes max. The last restaurant is called "Leo's" and thats most popular with locals. Fresh oysters are 12 for 80 pesos!

Amazing!!! This place is so gorgeous and has it all. Beautiful view, right on the water, clean restrooms and wifi. $200 pesos/night

What a beautiful place! We were here 8 years ago and things are still the same. 250 pesos for 2 ppl. Clean, no bugs, good restaurant.

Beautiful property, nice people, facilities are a bit run down but everything works. 200 pesos for 2 people with hookup for rig. Beer and food in resto great value. Bugs not bad at all.

Higher-end place to stay. Two pool areas and a restaurant. Plenty of room amongst the trees to camp and lots of fruit to pick. Beautiful sunsets over the water. The area is recognised as the mosquito capital of Mexico though so bring your repellant and coils! If not, it's an easy walk into town along the water to get some.

Beautiful place for 100 pesos per person. Just got a lot of bites...

Beautiful place. A holiday paradise. We paid 250 Pesos for two people.

Real nice location.Showers hot.The Garden is great. We were totally alone. Two Pools, clean and maintained.Like holidays during overlanding.
Bugs are there, but not as bad as expected.Short walk to the Village. The Breakfast is not as good as the place....but a lot of palapa restaurants around...
4 Stars for this location.

Beautiful place that was almost empty. No issues with bugs or mud at the time. Internet only ok. 200 mx p for dry camping in our van (2ppl). Worth it. Stayed only for one night, wish we could have stayed longer. Didn't go to the beach but used the pools.

Great spot at the ocean, friendly owner, fast wifi, hot shower, several swimming pools. 100mx p/person for camping, worth the money

Very nice. 225 pesos a night. Mosquitoes and bugs, but not horrendous. Good restaurant.

Great lil hotel and rv park. Safe in closed behind gate with security guard all night . Right off the beach with refreshing pools. Walk down the beach to lil restaurants where the fisherman come in with fresh catch. Hosts speak English very well. Showers, bathrooms and wifi. Also restraint on premises. 300 pesos for rv and 100 pesos to camp. Also rooms for rent. Relaxing and quiet.

We didn't stay here, but would recommend this place over El Chaco. Grounds are beautiful!!

There are two pool areas and a small restaurant. It is on the ocean but the beach looked a bit rocky out front. It is a very beautiful spot and there are bathrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers.
Electricity: unknown though there are likely some outlets at restaurant
Internet: unknown though they advertise “blazing fast” internet
100 pesos/night/per person

Sites in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden of the hotel. Several swimming pools and palapas to stay. Electricity / water / waste water at sites. The bathroom facilities were ok, but not the usual Mexican hotel standard. Unfortunately, the campsites were used as parking spaces and it was a little over the top with the grass watering, so everywhere quite muddy.

(Usually 225 pesos / day - more RV 250 pesos / day - discount for one week: pay 6, 1 day for free)
