Description
Large recreation area directly at Ruta 5, northbound. Clean and free toilets and showers. Picnic tables and grills. We stayed several times overnight; safe but a bit noisy.

This is a great rest area. The bathrooms are large and very clean and the shower is hot with doors that lock properly - very private. They were three security guards working when we arrived. Felt very safe. The place is very well lit. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay before reaching Santiago. Also it’s completely free! Tables and a small cafe close by for snacks. We slept well. However the motorway is very noisy! Though I think it would be the same at any of the service stations/ rest areas along this busy road.

I wouldn‘t want to spend the night at this rest-aerea!
We were even allowed to park our van under the roof in the back for maximum darkness, great spot!
