Police officers in office (2) and on motorbikes (2) focussed on foreign cars (overlanders) to charge them for nothing or completely crazy things. Office located before bridge on left side. You will be stopped not in the village! They pass by motorbike and stop you somewhere outside on the way down or up. (Before that happend I just turned at the end of pavement in the village. they caught me on the way down) No chance - challenging negotiation. They took 50.000 COP.

Report Check-InThey are still there just a bit down the road direction st Martha. Make sure you have copies of all your papers. If its taking to long, just start making pictures of them welcome to colombia!! Ask them of course before; and you can drive on without paying.
