Very nice scenery, very nice spot. However you cannot see the Charyn river from here, still 1,5km away. You can hike up the plateau for amazing views (follow a shepards trail westward uphill). Can be very muddy when wet. Also, lots and lots of cow/horse shit around. But still very worthed ;)

Super calm and silent. Nice track towards here, not to long drive of the main road. We had almost no wind and only the sound of a single bird. In the night some crickets, but in a good way. Starry skies look amazing from here. We liked the calm and tranquil spot.

It’s an easy drive (also 2WD) into the canyon. If you follow the path until the end you have an amazing camp spot. We were there alone and decided to come back again the night after. The most beautiful places we camped in Kazachstan!

Beautiful, windy. Overwhelming smell of polyn’.

Yes!! Really wild scennary, there some camp fire, also inside trees but if you walk some meters you will be inside the wild nature canyon, great. Also the road come here is really amazing (photo). Maybe at morning you will have the visit of the sheper man, he preparate fire wood four us, talk us little (rusien) and we gived him some eat... so kind.
