Report Check-InBeautiful park! Stayed two nights but were asked to leave this morning. We were told by the police that there is no overnight parking. That there was a curfew. When we arrived we asked a park employee about overnighting an he said it was fine. So I guess you would be taking a chance but we surely enjoyed it.
Report Check-InFirst night close to the park police station. 4 police cars with nobody in it.
Three RVs on the parking lot. Well lit and quiet. No service.
Première nuit près de la station de police du parc avec 4 auto patrouilles et personne dedans... Il y a 3 campeurs VR sur le stationnement. Endroit bien éclairé et tranquille. Aucun service. Parade ce soir et demain pour le Mardi gras!
I spent three nights here, the first two on the esplanade near the museum of art and the last night in the parking lot in front of the police station. I wasn't given any problems in either place.
Report Check-InWe stayed here, were asked to leave after a few nights. This is a great place. Quiet and green, there is also a mini putt and a coffee shop open 24/7. Well situated, you can get to the Vieux carré in 20 mins by bike.
Report Check-In“City Park Police” moved us on from here at about midnight telling us that the park was closed :(
Report Check-InGreat big parking lot with plenty of security lights. There are trees for shade in certain areas. Police drove by several times but never stopped. $11 Uber ride to French quarter or a 1 hour walk. Nice find.
