Still nice and well maintained, to town about 6km (possible per Taxi or Bike, if you have one). With pool and clean toilet, shower also.
5000CFA p.P. p.N., if you stay more than 1 night in your Camper.
Giod place to stay.

Report Check-In

Very friendly jung owner. Nice quite area near the city (6km) and a pool to relax. Of course price is high: 7500 p.P. for one night or 5000 p.P. if we stay two nights. But for us it is the only possibility to stay somewhere in the city on a nice place.

Report Check-In

He asked us 7500 CFA per person (15000 cfa for 2 with a 4x4) just to sleep on the parking it's really too expensive. And it's far from the town (7km) we didn't stay here.

Report Check-In

Still a good place to live your car, if you want to spend the weekend on the islands.

Since Covid, there where not many Overlanders at the place any more. The prices for the rooms are still the same. For caming they might have changed.
Person in charge is now the son of the former German owner. He speaks fluently Portuges and English. Compared to the last descriptions about his father, the young guy is realy friendly and sympathic.

Report Check-In

We also tried to camp there with our rooftent. Not possible. Owner wasn’t very friendly or helpful.

Report Check-In

We spoke to Andreas, the german owner (we are germans) and he explained to us that he does not allow Overlanders to camp on his compound anymore. He still rents rooms but camping is no more possible here. Still nice Pool and friendly people.

Report Check-In

We could not stay here - they are closed for campers. Not clear why and not very friendly

Report Check-In

I would avoid this place if possible. She is notoriously difficult and we had to beg her to camp at her place. It has a great swimming pool and there is a kitchen area but the effort to constantly beg and plead for everything makes it an uncomfortable place to stay.

Report Check-In

Very friendly owner. The place is (as already put) mainly for people wanting a lodge. They look very good and I think something like 28000cfa per night.
He lets a few tents pitch up on the grassed areas. The restaurant is closed ufn - but no more that 50mtr down the road I saw a reasonable place to eat.
The pool is just “amazing”!! Feels & looks like heaven. Beer is sold at the fuel station right opposite. Very happy here. Campervans & big rigs might not be accepted - I would call 1st to check.

Report Check-In

There is no camping available here. The price for room when I called for one person CFA 25,000 which I thought was very expensive. Owner was not the nicest as he left me waiting after viewing room and I just got back on my bike and left.

Report Check-In

Highly recommended. Amazing fruit trees, awesome swimming pool. An oasis in Bissau. Very well run by Andreas. Rooms and facilities are clean, open central kitchen which is great for prepping food and socialising. We can see why the UN stays here. wifi is slow but you can make use of messaging etc.
We are travelling from London to Cape Town on motorbikes and this place is safe to park and do some maintenance. Just far enough out of the town but close enough to access for visas etc.

See below. Owner was somewhat iffy about camping as the previous camper apparently made a huge mess, but allowed us to camp nonetheless. Hope we restored his confidence. Wifi didn't work for us, but excellent place to stay.
