Description

My name is Ryan and I am the Lead Game Warden for the Blackfeet Fish & Wildlife Department. I had received a call of non-tribal members camping in this location recently. All of the road side campers advised me they found this location on iOverlander. I am here to notify everybody that roadside/illegal camping is in violation of our Blackfeet Fish & Wildlife Laws & Regulations. If anyone if found in this area, illegally camping, you will be cited and fined $500.00 USD. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this issue, please feel free to contact the Blackfeet Fish & Wildlife Department at 406-338-7207, thank you.

Report Check-In

Be careful where you park around this area. I was just confronted by the sheriff at 10 tonight and told that everything there was private property and I was trespassing. Thankfully he just allowed me to move on

Report Check-In

I wasn't able to find this place.

Report Check-In

Found a spot here on the opposite end of this road, parked just off the road in open empty field. Very windy night but no trouble from the police.
All the campgrounds were full so glad there was this option to be able to use for one night. Prob not a great spot to linger.

Report Check-In

Étrange, effectivement le site semble semi-privé, mais j'y ai passé une excellente nuit dans un cadre enchanteur.

Report Check-In

As others noted, a bit hard to tell where you can camp or not. It isn't a forest service road and there are a number of unmarked grassy roads leading off of it that are hard to say if they are private or not. Many lead to lake-side areas with what appear to be semi-permanent RVs. We found a spot under an electrical pole that felt like it wasn't near anybody's property.

Minimal road noise, great verizon LTE service, minimal bugs (surprisingly).

Report Check-In

ok for us too .... ,many travellers come here .

Report Check-In

Not clear were it was but it's a large grass land out of the street and out of private driveway
Nice and quiet
Another truck with us (we have a travel trailer)
Talk to the neighbour and it's ok as long as we are clean !
15 minutes from Many Glacier entrance
5 minutes from St mary's entrance

Report Check-In

the first street after KOA entrance. there is a lot of options to wild camp. we choose this place next to the lake, with view to the Mountains. nice, quiet and far highway.
