Waterfall Lodge | Established Campground

A really nice and good lodge, with nice camping possibilities.
Right now the prices are 50cedi / night / Person (camping). Rooms starting by 180cedi.
There are clean flishing toilets and a shower for the campers. Rooms all with private bathroom.
The owner are helpful and the food is good, but not cheap. All prices are absolutly OK and not overpriced.

We did stay here for only one night but the place is nice and even worth a longer stay.
We had dinner and it was very delicious.
The walk to the lower waterfall from here is about 45 minutes and very nice.
Both (place and waterfall) are very recommended.

Very nice place to stay and arrange hikes from here. Camping 50cedi per person. Rooms are quite affordable as well. Good restaurant, friendly owners.

great spot. big rig friendly. 3000cfa pp camping. good hiking- get a guide at the office at the end of the road.

Lovely lodge near the falls in beautiful gardens. They are now open on Tuesdays. Camping 50cedi each in the garden. Good tasty dinner.

The place looks really nice and shady. Unfortunately there is not enough space for bigger rigs. Also the power lines hang to low along the track there.

Sabine and her husband are very friendly german owners. We have Bern there with our truck . We payed 80GHS for the car and two people. You can stay at a very nice green garden . It is possible to get your own foot or use the very good food if their restaurant. They have also a good breakfast with a good coffee. Toilette and shower are very clean and inside from her house. A good place for staying here for some days.

Very friendly owners...

You can eat by yourself or enjoy the very good restaurant of the lodge.

we pay 80 cedis for 2 adults, 2 kids and our Mercedes 609 (7m long, 3m30 high) per night .

5 min walk to the waterfall office.

Price January 2023: 40 cds per persons.
in the moment they have no more day off on Tuesdays so you can camp there the whole week, but they might stop it when business will be better again.
everything else as described, very clean and tidy.

Like described. A wonderful place to stay a longer time. Wondefull garden, Sabine will explain all the plants she let grow here. Good restaurant. Highly recommended.

Good parking in garden, outdoor restaurant and relaxing area. 30 cedi pp, meals available, access to shower and toilet. Lively views of mountain and waterfall. Good base for crossing into Togo or coming from Togo.

We weren't allowed to camp because it was Monday and Tuesday is their day off. So both days are a no go! Really stupid way to run a business.

Very nice and quiet place with grassy ground to camp. the owners are extremly friendly and helpful. we had big luck, because one of the rooms was free, so they offered us to use the bathroom there and so we could stay from saturday to wednesday. the restaurant is very good and the staff is very lovely. we loved it here and it is a good start to walk to the waterfalls. if we ever come back to Ghana we will certainly come back to Bernhard and Sabine :-)

Nice Place, lovely Garden with beautiful views of the surrounding Mountains and upper Waterfall. Friendly German Owners. Good Restaurant. Laundry with real washing machine. We paid 40 Cedi per Night (2 People and Car).

True: Closed on Tuesdays. Arrival on Monday also a bit of a Hassle. Better not arrive on Monday or Tuesday.

CLOSED TUESDAYS

Arrived after a rough day to be told its closed on Tuesdays. There was a big rig overlander camping. I'd briefly met them before in Ziginchour and it would have been awesome to have caught up. The staff phoned the German owner's and the answer remained no, you cannot camp. I could come back tomorrow. If I'd arrived yesterday I could stay. But nope. I arrived Tuesday so not welcome. I didn't want food or service. Just to put my tent up. Not possible. Shame, it looked nice from behind the closer gate

I went elsewhere. There are s couple or campsites around town it turns out.

you can camp on gras near the volley ball field
they also rent bicycle for 25ghc pday.
on weekend it can be a bit noisy.....as everywhere in Afrika

Beautiful location...camped in vehicle on the grass by the volleyball court, next to the banana and pineapple field. Would have stayed longer but had to get back to Accra.

lovely campsite with great view, great fruit salad and the most welcoming staff, especially Peace. Also excellent volley ball court. 2 mins to waterfall park entrance. 40cd for tour to upper and lower falls. all the bases covered. 15 cd pppn.
