Comfortable hotel, great hot shower, simple breakfast included. We found it for US$55 on booking.com and stayed for 2 nights. Walking distance to old downtown, felt safe wandering around in the evening, going for dinner 20 min away. Nice bed, kind staff, parking lot included (entrance for the car on Calle San José, connected to the lobby). Internet not great in the room (better very late), fine in the lobby.

Nice hotel! A bit older but well maintained and the rooms are updated. Great shower. We parked our truck/pop-up camper in the garage. They have max height of 2m20 but you can pass up to 2m30. We took our fan cover off to make it. If not you can park in front of hotel. Good for visiting the city. Great breakfast! Good WiFi!
Report Check-InAgreed with all previous comments. Great option for a couple of nights in Montevideo. Breakfast is quite good for Uruguay. The price they quoted me for 2 nights was more than what I had seen on booking.com. Once I told them, they gave me the booking price.
Report Check-InPretty nice option in Montevideo for overlanders. Large garage with free parking. Was told it was 2.2 meters high but it’s more as our kombi is 2.1 and cleared easily. Basic but decent rooms, we called directly to the hotel and negotiated $45 US per night. Breakfast included as well.
Report Check-InExcellent value hotel (£30 on booking.com) with great buffet breakfast and adjacent undercover parking included. Nice buzzy area of cafes etc (el fogon parilla good) and easy walking distance to centre. Even get the BBC on TV! Recommended.
Report Check-InGreat choice for overlanders as this hotel is well located and has secure indoor parking for free. We paid 40 usd via booking.com for a double room.
Breakfast was better than we expected. WIFI signal strong and fast as they now have routers everywhere. Old style hotel but clean enough.
