Went here for overnight. Bathrooms were terrible, wifi from the burger king was down. Lots of traffic and strange people watching all the time. Didnt feel safe at all, went further to los tucanes and spent a peacfull night there.

Metade do caminho de Campeche a Palenque, faz muito calor, aparentemente seguro. Tem um pouco de barulho durante a noite, muitos caminhões chegando e saindo. Mais tivemos uma noite tranquila. Banheiros limpos.

We nearly ended up parking here overnight but the weird vibe and interactions sent us on our way.

We slept here for 1 night on our way to Uxmal.
Bit noisy from the road, but OK with earplugs.
To get wifi you need to park very near the BK, which is even noisier.
There is a water tap in the grass section you can use to load water.
Before we went to sleep we spied on a bit of a dodgy character walking around the parking lot and checking out our rig and we heard him telling another guy he "could probably get something from the gringos' van" (which we are not but we have Canadian plates).
Nothing happened in the end since he walked away about half an hour later or so but don't think there was any security if something would have.

Free. Try to reach this point in the afternoon because of the heat and lack of shade. WC with shower and shop 24 hs. We felt safe.

PROS: clean bathrooms open all night, fast wifi from the Burger King reaches to the parking area (free with purchase), surprisingly super quiet for a gas station – CONS: none – Free!
