Description
The campsite is further from the center of town, so a bit quieter. They opened one of the Tented rooms for us to use the hot shower and toilet. Nice views. $10 for camping and 35 000 UGX for buffet dinner that tasted really good.

they asked 10 usd for camping but got a discount for my ground tent.

good wifi all day now and charging points at the restaurant.
free tea and coffee 24 h and for a hot shower / bath you will get a towel and soap as well
for me it was the first place since a while which would have been worth the 10 usd
A nice spot. Was initially quoted $15 to camp but this was quickly reduced to $10. Use of nice shower and toilet facilities, nice seating area with free tea and coffee and very helpful staff. Only food option was their set menu for $15 but they showed me somewhere in the village to get cheap food (in a cheap looking hotel - on the left on the main street near the start of the village if you come in from the south).
Report Check-InOut of the 3 campsite options mentioned this doesn’t have the view but is most quiet, I drove my camper down the hill a bit to park in between the pine trees as the carpark didn’t feel appealing although I am the only guest and had the place to myself and 3 great staff members. I had a hot bath in one of the rooms which was a welcoming possibility after many weeks! Internet after 18h00 only.
Report Check-InDecent enough for a stop over while gorilla tracking at Ruhija. Camping in RTT in car park for 10 USD pppn and they give you keys for a room to utilize for ablutions. Shower hot in afternoon. Restaurant charges 10 USD for 3 course basic menu. Lovely views from restaurant and staff very pleasant. Beers not very cold so ask them to put some in freezer a few hours before you want them. Waiter JOHN was great and made every effort. WiFi is loaded every evening from 6pm but doesn’t last long at all before it runs out
