A small restaurant where you can pitch your tent inside an empty room for 10s per night (2 people)
There is a hot shower!
Good food is 5s for two courses.
The staff are super friendly and it's a safe place to leave your things (bikes, tent etc) while visiting rainbow mountain.
For the mountain we got a lift with the 2:45am workers truck at a cost of 5spp. (This leaves from outside Miski Punuy hostel) You arrive 4:30/5:00 and can either start the hike then or wait until sunrise about 6am.
All the tours start about 7am so either way you will have the mountain and trail to yourselves.
To get back down you either have to hitch a lift with a tourist bus or wait for the workers truck to leave again, about 2:30pm. You can buy lunch once you get back down the mountain and are waiting for a lift, again 5s for two courses.
At the time of writing there was no collectivo option from here to get to the mountain, however at a cost then somebody will take you. It's a two hour dive to the start of the trail.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Recommended. Very nice and welcoming people, they have empty rooms where you can stay with larger groups as well. Eventually beds if you ask nicely. Usually they serve three meals a day, experienced in serving man people. They told me that they sometimes have live music, too. Good and reliable information how to get to the rainbow mountain with little money.
