Free campground with a trail to where the Susitna River meets Sheep Creek. Sites are various sizes, and most have fire pits. There is room to park for small and large rigs. 3 bars of LTE with ATT. I saw a restroom but it looked old and I didn't go in. Very quiet night. 38 minutes south of Talkeetna.

Report Check-In

Very quiet overnight camp. 1 mile off Parks Highway, good gravel road. Three large gravel parking areas, many shaded car/tent spots with fire pits. Other sites with rock fire rings. Pit toilets clean, surprisingly not smelly Great place for dogs to roam
Informal, no fee. 2 bars on AT&T.

ok for the night, lots of places, no trail, lots of generator, quite hours from 11pm to 8am , fire pits, Toilette, mosquitos, all sites of RV incl tents, free

Report Check-In

Nice place for the night although we were the only ppl here and it was rainy. The spaces all looked spacious but some are along trees that back up to peoples yards. My bf walked down to the river from here and said it’s a nice view down there. He also used the bathrooms and said they were fine, just a little dingy which seems as expected for a campground pit toilet

MM 86.5 off Parks Highway, west 1 mile on Resolute Drive (gravel road, no 4wd needed) to parking area. Plenty of level space for rvs (small and large) and tents to park. Some have firepits. Pit toliets and garbage bin. Area really cleaned up. Quite a few fishermen along banks. Free to all.

Report Check-In

Overnight parking at the big parking lot of Sheep Creek Slough. Four more campers and ca 10 fishermen were here. There is lots of space and you do not disturb each other. Not a scenic spot, but quiet and easy to reach on the way from Anchorage to Denali.

Report Check-In

Quiet place, plenty of room. Not as scenic as the bridge 23km north of here, but this is easier to reach in 2wd. River is a short walk but stagnet and stinky, as is the garbage receptacle...don’t park near it.

Report Check-In

Very quiet with not to many people. Moxies are present but not to bad.

Report Check-In

It’s ok, but the Sustina river banks 40km from here, by the bridge it’s much better.

Report Check-In

As described, a calm place to stay for a night not far away from the Highway, the pit toilets were a little bit dirty...

Report Check-In

Slept here last night without any trouble. Free and quiet boondocking spot near the road but you can’t hear anything. Were plenty of mosquitos due to the closeness of the river. Many room for any kind of Rv. felt safe

Report Check-In

free, big gravel parking area, fire rings, pit toilet, 1,5 mi from highway, very quiet, access for fishing at the creek

Report Check-In

nice big parking areas with little pull outs for camping on the perimeter. some other RVs and the sounds of generators present despite posted quite hours starting at 11 PM. Even so, seems nice and good separation of others.
