very large spot with some shade and open area. sharing the spot with cattle.

Report Check-In

Large site at meadow off Lower Boggy Rd/FR258. Previous users had left a mess and coals were still smoldering in fire ring. Bad Humans!
Site is on high ground so the winds help with warm July temps.

Report Check-In

As described, several sites the further you go down the road. We arrived Wednesday early afternoon and several sites were already taken, only 3 left on the road that we could see.

Nice area, tall trees and most sites have plenty of space for 2 or more rigs and the dogs to run. There are many wild mushrooms growing so be aware. Also in our particular location a lot of bees would come out mid morning and again mid evening. They were not aggressive to us just really wanted our food.

Fait amount of traffic down the road about 4-6 cars per day, seems like people looking for sites. We stayed 5 days and overall our experience was nice, would stay here again. Easy road in for our 2wd sprinter.

As described by the other posts. Mix of tall pines and head high oak. Our site is nicely level and dabbled shade. Enough sunlight to put out the solar panel. Was able to get usable ATT signal using the Weboost.

Report Check-In

There are LOTS of sites all around and hardly saw anyone. Enough trees and bushes to provide privacy mixed with larger open areas for bigger campers or multifamily camping. We enjoyed this place a lot. Went for great walks with dogs. Saw freah bear droppings! Quiet. No phone or internet.

Beautiful spot in the Natl Forest near the other location on iOverlander but even better. Just need to go farther in. Spots all over the place.

Report Check-In

Nice spot for dry camping, found a grassy area with fire pit, plenty of room for big RVs all though some roads are a bit torn up from when muddy.
