Report Check-In

Called here at 5pm but a neighbour told us the owners are away at the moment.

Report Check-In

We arrived by chance at night on a friday. The owners are very nice and let us stay for the weekends although there were gone. The neighbor is very nice and has some incredibly sweet dogs. The are is really great if you don't want to stay close to Lima. The restrooms are good.
because of the train and the road nearby it gets quit loud at night, so bring earplugs.

Report Check-In

We stayed in total for about 20 days in this campsite and parked our Unimog there for 5 month which we spend in Europe. It was absolutely safe, Eleonora is a wonderful landlady, very helpful and friendly. She supported very much the administration with customs for the suspension of our TIP and we felt very welcome in this place. The nearby train sometimes is a bit noisy, but also very interesting, so it did not bother us really. After all this time we felt sorry to leave this place where we had spend such a good time. Thank you so much Eleonora!!!

Roos & Michel
The place is neglected, the hot shower is out of order. However, Eleonora is very helpful. We left our camper there for 6 months and she took good care. There is a police station in Matucana where they can provide the declaration which you need for SUNAT to suspend and renew your TIP.

Report Check-In

Descriptions from other overlanders are accurate. We paid 10 soles pp and 10 for the car, so 30 per night. The train is noisy but we loved watching it drive by slowly high up on the hills. Lots of friendly cats and dogs around.

Report Check-In

Super place. Very peaceful. Good clean bathrooms. Hot shower. Good internet (at House, doesn’t reach car). Nice people. Lots of space. Awesome place to take a few days and catch up. S./ 20 for the first 3 days, then S/.10 each night after.

Report Check-In

What a nice spot! No high restriction, so really possible for a big rig.

Report Check-In

Good spot. We stayed two nights. Many campers or big trucks can fit in grass area. It is level and has some shade from trees. We bought fresh milk from neighbors. The electric shower was hot. There is a nice balcony in front of the kitchen. Wifi is slow and near the building only. Clean restrooms with paper and seats. Very friendly owner and stuff. Water is potable.

Report Check-In

Good place for one night before or after driving through Lima! Grassy place, good WiFi and clean toilet. A little bit noisy because of the train, but it was no problem for us.

Report Check-In

Large grassy campground even for big rigs. Very nice lady with a lot of ideas what to do in the area, speaks spanish, english and french. Outside toilet and basic outside showers, one warm, two cold. Camp kitchen with gas plates, sink and fridge. Probably the best place in the whole valley. Payed 10 Sol pp and 10 Sol for the car. Some trains during night and day.
