Stunning site for tent or RV right on the river. There are about 8 campsites around but this one is the best. You can swim in the river and use it for cooking. A pit latrine is nearby.
Name change: Camp Ground is called Moose Creek Campground. On Google it's called Blackfoot Canyon Campground.
Not a drip of cell service!

Lovely little campground near a small river. Bear country! We are only ones here, nice & quiet. Lots of firewood left stacked by pit. Light rain, winter is coming-snow expected soon. Great place for a night or two.
Report Check-InBeautiful, free cg next yo a trout river. Sites have rings, tables, and there is one clean pit toilet. More, secluded spots along road after day area away from the central ring of sites. Just beautiful! 16 day limit, a little too long in my opinion. There is one other unoccupied trailer here right now.
Report Check-InVisited here during the week Thanks to name change information and we were able to get best spot. River only running about a foot deep and that is enough to cool off several other campers here scattered about. Wildfire smoke high enough not to bother.
Report Check-InPerfect stop for the night. Quiet campground, bumpy camp road but nothing limiting as long as you go slow. We pulled in around 8 pm and still 3-4 spots to choose from. Our site backed up to the river but too overgrown to walk down.
Report Check-InGreat spot while the mosquitoes are yet to show their evilness.
The river is really high with runoff water. Lots of puddles and standing water.
Report Check-InPerfect little spot near Blackfoot river. First come first serve. 1 pit toilet at the first camp site .. keep driving till you see the river , best spot is the first one. Would come here again.. No mobile/cell for miles on the route 200, makes sure you come prepared. RVs assessible.
