Very quiet area, no riverwater at that time but the road can be tricky when rainy (beware of flash floods). We enjoyed our night there! Photo is a view from the top of the canyon, you can see the camp down left.

Beautiful river in a little canyon with some camping spots along side. Road was dry when I visited in most places but can clearly become difficult to pass in wet weather.

Gorgeous landscape. We came in late spring and there was no running water, only muddywater ponds in the river bed. Scaresly any bugs. My brother met with a lonely coyote twice though.
Great camping spots, but the car scrapped its underside when we turned off the road.
