nice place, safe and lot of space.
but a little overpriced. they charged me 27,50 $ for a landcruiser, 1 person, 1 tent. they calculate per length of the car.

Large flat car park in the Marina. it would appear that the 25BZD offer mentioned in the past no longer exists. we were charged 1.65 bzd per foot for our vehicle and they did measure it. Electrify was extra, water and showers were extra. We intended to launch our own Kayak onto the river and they were not happy with that. either. The security was excellent, a guard patrolled all night. lots of bugs after dark.

We parked here for a week while we went on Glovers Atoll. It's very safe, guarded day and night, there is Wifi, a toilet and showers. We were able to keep our car plugged in the electricity outlet for the whole week. We paid 25 BZ Dollar per night, same rate whether we slept in the car or where away in the island.

BTW can highly recommend Glovers Atoll, its just 100 USD for a week of tent camping on the island per person and includes the boat ride out and back.

Out of season. The marina is open but the restaurant is closed until December. No WiFi. Very friendly guys, good security, lots of sandflies. Clean bathrooms. $25BZ (no electric). Can rent kayaks (I think $10 but we used our own). Guard told us there is a big crochet (over 6ft) living in the river nearby. He told us this AFTER we got back!!!

We spend 2 nights there. We were welcome by really nice people. All the staff was incredible. You sleep on the parking but can access to the restaurant (table, garden, wifi). We paid 25 BZ$ per night. We ate one at the restaurant. Good food, great service ! The only problem was sandflies day and night, but if it's windy, you will be good. If you want to do a reasonably priced tour for snorkeling, ask for Patrick at the reception. We did it, and it was a incredible day for 130 BZ$.

1,65$ BZD par pied (longueur du véhicule) par nuit. Électricité, eau, douche, toilettes, wifi compris. C’est Sur le parking de la marina, c’est plat, c’est du gravier, pas d’ombre. Fermé et sécurisé 24/24 par plusieurs gardes. Endroit très calme et bucolique, face à la rivière, bar/restaurant très sympa.
Possibilité de partir faire du snorkeling sur la barrière de corail et accoster sur un atoll pour déjeuner avec un départ à quelques mètres de votre véhicule. Demander Patrick, 65$ US par personne pour toute la journée en bateau privé + repas du midi + boisson + guide qui vous fait découvrir la faune et flore sous marine cachée. Très très bon prix ! Journée magique !
La même sortie faite par le tour opérator de la marina est de 225$ US par personne soit presque 4 fois plus cher pour la même prestation !!!!!!
Tous les gens sur place sont très sympa et arrangeant.
On recommande !

Nice and quiet place. Great friendly security guys. Vehicle refueling available. Electricity where we parked is only 15 amps, not enough for a 13500 btu A/C unit.

Camped here before heading to Glovers Island. The restaurant is closed on Sarurdays so it was really quiet here. The wifi from the restaurant works great and we were able to sit inside and use it even though it was closed. Two security guards overnight with guns, really nice guys though and were super friendly and upfront about the overnight security. When we got there the daytime security tried to charge us 35bz when we got there so watch out for that... should be 25bz... 35bz is if you need electricty. Cold showers with good pressure, we got eaten alive as soon as the sun went down. Bring bugspray.

Great camping on the river marina. Good restaurant. Very nice people. Clean bathrooms. Cold shower with amazing water pressure. Paid $1.65 per foot with electric enough to runAC! Small store with cold drinks, water pumps and basic marine supplies. Motorbike rental in Hopkins if needed.

A great Marina on the Sittee River, which offers camping for RVs at $25BZD a night. All facilities, 24 hour security and layback rental to explore the River. Very pretty, very friendly, modern facilities and a mechanical engineer on site. Not sure about electricity at sites but it's a marina and has these dockside, so if you have an extension I'm sure you'll get hooked up.
