He seemed surprised we pulled into his drive. This place is pretty much closed. He let us stay for the night but he is closing down shop.

Nice quiet site in their yard. We had a choice of shade or sun. Great for tenters or RVs. $20 per night. $30 with hookup. There is a flush toilet and hot shower.

Reading the prior reviews you would think this place is a gem but it isn't. Don't understand the hype of other overlanders. The place is not bad, is "ok". Mora Campground less than 10 min down the road has a better infrastructure with nicely spaced sites on a lush green forest. Ray is an amazing host and you can have fun talking to him, so if you need to socialize come here, but if you are looking for a place to camp go to Mora. Same price, you don't have a shower but is all around better. if you want to shower go to Forks and pay $3 for a good shower in a gym infrastructure.

As described, they did raise the rates to $20 but still a better deal than Mora as they do have a shower here. Only about 20 mins from Rialto Beach and there is a store and restaurant nearby.

Ray and Joan are nice people with a nice property.
There is alomost 15 sites on their property.
Rates are now 20$ for dry camping and 30$ FHU

Wonderful place wonderful people are very nice very quiet had a flushing toilet and an outhouse as well as a out house shower that was heated and was provided with protected campfire amenities

I came on a Monday and called ahead before driving out there. I figured a gem like this would be pretty full, even on a Monday. Ray answered and told me they were empty, I would most likely be the only one there.
The campground is just as advertised in other comments. No AT&T phone signal. The wifi is weak and you almost have to park 50-60' from their residence to get it. Ray & Joan were very nice, talkative enough without being in your face. I haven't put the shower to the test, but I will soon, as I really need a real, hot shower. Ray showed it and the flush toilet to me and it all looks quite serviceable. I'm highly recommending this place as a cheap/cozy campground. Reminds me of camping out at my grandone's mountain house, they had a chamber pot 😁

Nice quiet spot. Ray said they always have availability. There are also 3 RVs for rent and a cabin. Great setup.

The Wi-Fi was very slow at best, so don't expect to download or upload anything while here. It was sufficient for loading maps.

Shower and bathrooms are simple but effective outhouses. Would stay here again. Thanks Ray!

A lovely place, but didn’t stay once Ray told me a neighbors’ Rottweiler sometimes wanders over off leash.

Not knowing the other dog, the only way I’d feel my dog was safe would be to confine her to my van (which I really didn’t want to do!) so we moved on, too bad because the property and Ray looked very nice! :)

Joan and Ray were great hosts when we stayed here for a night. They have a huge beautiful yard with many RV spots and many car/tent sites. The yard is very secluded with a flush toilet and shower. We had WiFi at about 150ft from the house. We were greeted by Ray and found that he is very friendly and easy to talk to. The area is amazing with many beaches and the town of Forks and La Push nearby. I feel like they really enjoy hosting and meeting people from all over the world. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Spent two nights here and was perfect. The quietest place I have ever been. Toilet surprised me when I was it was a flush toilet, shower was nice and hot with plenty of room and a lock. Just basic but does the job.
I was very appreciative of the hospitality and kindness Ray and Joan gave. As an Australian and a female solo traveller they were interested to hear about my travels and share stories of their own with me. Thanks again!

Indeed a very nice place, peaceful and welcoming. If no one is around, just wait a bit or try to call: +1 360 4615394
The sites are lovely set, most of them with fire pit and new benches/tables. All widely spread on a sunny lawn surrounded by dense forest. Shower and toilet work perfectly fine and are located near the entrance. WiFi even reaches the spots in the back. Recommendable and incredible cheep for what you get & they do have availability, even on the 4th of July.

As advertised! Super spot. Ray & Joan have a nice, quite little place just off La Push Road. Toilet is flush and in a stand alone 'outhouse'. The shower is in a similar structure and is an 'on demand' propane heated system. We thought both were just great. Price is right at $15! No hookups

Nice and quiet place, very friendly couple who lives there. Adventures hot shower but awesome, warm water! ;) Flush Toilet. We do recommend this place.

This is an older couple's home. They have set up a campground on their property. It is very nice. Nice grassy areas for tent. Great area for kids and dogs to run around. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a flush toilet and primitive hot shower. $15 for dry site, $25 for electric. They also have a cabin for rent.
