Beautiful place for a quiet camping night; plenty of spaces like around the pond, across the bridge or even in the football field with access to wood for a bonfire and flat grass surfaces. Bathroom service is well maintained and clean, with fresh water supply. If you're not a camping person, you can rent one of the cabanas with very rustic setup, typical colonial style, perfect for a family time. Also they have a restaurant, we didn't try it but looks good. We reached the place via non paved road, but no 4x4 required (during dry season). Definitely recommended 200%

Beautiful and peacefull place to have a great campground and enjoy the nature. I have been here camping alone and also with a big group of Overlanders. Huge space for car and tent setups. Nice bathrooms and showers, great restaurant and also a very nice ecological walk that you can do. The staff is very nice and helpful, Gustavo will help you on whatever you need, and Andrea cooks wonderful. I loved this place.

Extremely quiet, peaceful place to camp. We spent two nights here. No swimming in the pond anymore, but there is an old rowboat you can tool around with. Dog-friendly. Camping area is large grassy field. There is a bathroom and shower (with hot water, ask for it to be turned on). No place to wash dishes really, unless you cart everything to the bathroom sink. There is a big building a short walk away where you can relax in bad weather. WiFi is decent there (it doesn’t reach to the camping area). We had two dinners here and they were both delicious. One was trucha and the other was a Mexican-style soup—so comforting on a cold, wet night. They even lit a fire in the building one night, which was lovely. Gustavo is the grounds keeper, and he is eager to help with anything you need. He will build a beautiful campfire in the camping area, and he can clean up the horse manure in the camping area if necessary. We paid 60,000 COP/night for two adults, one child. Dinners were 30-50,000 with drink and dessert.

This is our second time here. It is a wonderful place to camp and relax. Hernando and Cristina are great hosts.
Many beautiful hiking places around the site.
The food is very good.
Prices have gone up since last time we were here. COP 50.000 Pppd, including a very good breakfast.
We will come back for sure.

They have new prices for almost everything. Check their website or give them a call to check it out. 45k for an army tent dormitory.
32k for a dinner, so not cheap, but the trucha (fish) we got was delicious!

The place is very cosy and the owners are really friendly people. Sometimes they have events for large groups of schoolchildren, so it is good to call ahead.

It is perhaps with Al Bosque near Medellín, Waira in the Laguna de la Cocha near Pasto, it is one of the best Ioverlander sites. Don Hernando is very friendly, the place is large, water abundant and super hot, fireplace in the restaurant, in short, highly recommended. The fare is COP $ 30,000 per vehicle, it went up a bit, but it is a very fair price for the quality of the place. Highly recommended

Very nice relaxing place with a wonderful hot shower, WiFi and rooms to rent if you need. There is plenty of space for a nice walk and a little lake for swimming.

The heart of the campsite is a big cozy house with a fireplace to enjoy and here also lovely food is served. Definitely try dinner or/and breakfast, it’s worth every Peso and very delicious!

Hernando gave us a very warm welcome and we really enjoyed our stay very much.
It’s a place where you perhaps stay longer than expected, like we did.

Very nice place and friendly staff. We would have stayed longer if it weren’t for the arrival of a large school group. This could be a good base from which to do day visits to Raquira and Villa de Leyva.
